100% Turkey Meat Butterball Franks

Butterly gifted me a coupon for Butterball Turkey Franks, in exchange for my honest review. These were a delicious, juicy alternative for those who don’t eat a lot of beef or pork. They contain lower-fat content than regular hotdogs, and are also gluten-free, and lactose-free. I love that Butterball Turkey Franks are made with 100% turkey meat and are a good source of protein. I put them in the air-fryer for ten minutes and made homemade Turkey-chili dogs for dinner; the kids devoured them!

Great Altenative

The meat in the frank tastes just as good as chicken or beef sausages. And it works well with hotdogs or as a breakfast. It is great to know that the product uses 100% turkey meat and gluten free as I always been hesitant what goes into sausages these days. Product was gifted by Butterball Canada.

Will be a staple on my kids' school lunches

As Asians, our family usually enjoy eating our meat with rice. So that's how we tried these franks for lunch (along with some egg). These are tasty and were gobbled up by my kids fast! I like that they're healthier than the beef franks we usually buy. I can already see this being a regular in my kids' school lunches.

Smells funky - tastes gross

Ugh this was hard to even swallow. I just don’t enjoy turkey products like this. Not to mention all the added ingredients in it. Absolutely terrible tasting and smelling.

Whistle Dogs with Turkey Franks

My husband had a craving for Whistle Dogs so this was a great opportunity to try something new! After frying up some Turkey Bacon, I added it to butterflied, pan fried Butterball Turkey Franks in a fresh hot dog bun, added some cheese (everything's better with cheese!) and his favourite toppings for a filling meal with less fat than regular processed meats.
I found the Turkey Franks to be less greasy or fatty than regular hot dogs but the texture and the flavours tasted like old family favourites. This is a great alternative when you want something familiar but better for you and with less guilt.

Light and delicious

I had this chance to try Butterball Turkey Franks. Bought them at IGA store, didn’t find at Walmart . Very impressed. My teenagers adored it, so delicious, so juicy, lightly salted. Perfect for the breakfast

Kids loved them!

My kids are hot dog connoisseurs and I didn’t tell anything about these before serving them for lunch. They didn’t complain once and even said they were delicious! I’ll call that a huge win and I love that these are lower fat than other hot dog option on the market. I’ll be repurchasing these and putting them into the rotation.

Great Franks!

This is the first time we've tried the Butterball Turkey Franks, and I must say, they were really good! They tasted delicious and cooked well. The franks are a good size. If I hadn't known better, I would have thought these were normal hot dogs. While the turkey offers a leaner meat alternative, these still deliver the flavor and juiciness. We have a non-pork eater in the house, so we typically prefer turkey options, so this was great. Easy to cook on the stove, in the air fryer or on the BBQ. Awesome that they are 100% turkey meat, they're gluten and lactose free and made in Canada! Good for the whole family!

Healthier option for hotdogs

Texture is soft and its juicy, I also find it as not too salty. I love that it is 100% turkey with 7grams of protein. Plus its so versatile to use in different dishes. My daughter loved it too. So, definitely this will be a part of our breakfast from time to time.

Fussy eater approved

Butterball's turkey franks are a great healthier alternative to your typical hotdog. We grilled ours on the BBQ and they tasted amazing! Even fussy eaters (like myself!) will approve!
