Good red meat substitute

I decided to try and cook the dogs in a sticky garlic sauce and make them into little octopus shapes to make it a little fun and add some extra taste. They plumped up nicely, and held onto the sauce really well. They are seasoned but not so much that they compeat with other flavour which is nice for a staple choice. Overall it's a good dog and a really good option if you're on restricted diet.

Juicy Healthier Hot Dogs

I received a coupon for Butterball Turkey Franks in exchange for my honest review. I knew the best way to test these out was to test them with my son. He is extremely picky when it comes to hot dogs. I served them to him the way he likes it, in a bun with cheddar cheese and he said that the hot dogs tasted better than normal! This is a huge win for me because they're larger than your chicken or your beef, or your mystery meat hot dogs and they are healthier.

Great hot dog option

If your kid loves hot dogs but you’re hesitant about what is actually in a hot dog, then these turkey franks will save the day. It’s 100% turkey meat and gluten free and still delivers in terms of flavour. I air fried mine then cut them up to put in mac and cheese and it was nice and juicy and had some bounce to it. Would recommend as a healthier hot dogs alternative.

Butterball Turkey Sausages

Butterball Turkey Sausages are a healthier alternative to regular beef or pork sausages. They grill nicely and are packed full of flavour. Each package comes with 8 pieces and is more pricier than the regular sausages. If I was looking for a healthier alternative, I would purchase again. However, if I am trying to cut costs then I would purchase the alternative.

The best franks!

We now only buy these hotdogs for our household - everyone loves them! They are light and not overly salty like some dogs are and you feel better eating them than the alternative too. I only wish that they came in a jumbo size like some other brands have!

No taste.

I didn't like these franks much. I felt that they had no taste. I grilled them on the Barbeque and had it on a bun with onion and ketchup. I couldn't finish it. I wouldn't recommend.

Healthier Hot Dogs

I received this product for free, in exchange for my honest review, from #butterly and #ButterballCanada. My family enjoyed the Butterball Turkey dogs as they are thick, juicy and very tasty. They're also Gluten free and much lower in fat than the beef hot dogs. In addition, they're high in protein so are a healthier option. We don't eat hot dogs very often, but when we do, I would purchase these instead of my usual brand.

Texture was Different

I really wanted to enjoy these but I couldn't get past the texture. I found they started extra dense even after being quicky boiled before bbqing. My kids are them with no issues so that's great! But im not sure id spend the extra on it.

healthier option but still lacks flavor

Honestly, I'm always a little hesitant about turkey franks... they can be kinda hit or miss. 🌭 First impression? They look like franks. Nothing too exciting there. I boiled 'em up (classic, right?). Taste-wise... they're not bad! They've got that familiar frankfurter flavor, maybe a little milder than beef or pork. Texture-wise, they're pretty smooth, not too rubbery, which is a plus. My biggest concern is that they are a bit bland. They definitely need some help from condiments. Mustard, ketchup, relish... load 'em up! 😅 Overall, I'd say they're a decent, healthier alternative to regular franks. Good for a quick lunch or a cookout if you're watching your fat intake. I'd give 'em a 6/10. Not amazing, but not terrible either. 👍

My kids and I both love these hotdogs

Easy to cook and even easier to love. My children and I all love these as a snack or a healthier meal option to regular hotdogs. These dont leave me feeling bloated and I love how they taste.
