Delicious!

I received a coupon from Butterly to redeem container of the Chapman's Super Premium Plus Chocolate Lover Ice Cream and my goodness was it ever delicious! It was creamy and the perfect amount of chocolate! It’s been a while since I’ve changed up my ice cream of choice but this is my new go to!

One of the best ice creams I’ve ever had

Champman’s products are always our “Go To” when we have an ice cream craving and this new line is a delicious surprise. When we thought that their ice cream couldn’t get better… BOOM!

Believe me when I say, this is not a regular chocolate ice cream flavour. This is a gem for all chocolate lovers. It’s a super-rich and velvety ice cream that you can compare easily with those luxury —and very expensive— imported brands, but made with 100% Canadian dairy, which means it is much-much better if you ask me. Its flavour is a blend of Madagascar vanilla and dark chocolate, which makes it not overly sweet, but instead so delicious and with a fantastic dark chocolate flavour.

Super creamy and packed with deliciousness

The Chapman Super Premium Plus Chocolate Ice Cream is such a delicious and indulgent dessert option. Highly impressed by high-quality ingredients used and the luxurious and ultra creamy texture of the ice cream. This ice cream is a lot more denser and richer than the rest I have tried from this brand. Brownie points for the variety of flavors introduced in this range as well. Such a great treat that anyone and everyone would love.

My New Favourite

I really enjoyed the opportunity to give Chapman's Super Premium Plus Chocolate Lover Ice Cream a try for my review. Every mouthful was decadent and melted in a way that was smooth milky chocolate. I am certainly going to give the other flavours a try and so should you. Delicious and now that summer is here a perfect way to treat yourself. I had to force myself not to eat it all in one sitting. Can't wait until I get the next flavour.

Rich and Indulgent

This ice cream is rich and indulgent, the chocolate flavour is complex and yet also simple and pure at the same time. I really enjoyed the creamy and rich texture, it tastes like the best of a few options for a premium ice cream. Great treat and excited to try the other flavours!

Rich flavour with a premium finish

I've been a long-time customer of Chapman's, from their frozen yogurt to their ice cream "lollys" to their classic ice-cream. Their Super Premium Plus line is the latest to come out of their Willy Wonka-esque factory. This ice cream is more akin to premium, "small tub" (as I refer to them" brands like Ben & Jerry's and Haagen Dazs, and boy, does it ever give them a run for their money. Chapman's take on premium, black-label ice cream is smoother and softer than these other brands. No more bending a spoon while trying to scoop a thimbleful out of the tub. The Chocolate Lover flavour was rich and decadent, touching more on dark chocolate notes. It's widely available and easy to find in stores, but the only downside is the more "premium" price tag that goes along with it. The reason why Chapman's is so popular with my friends and family is a combination of their great taste and excellent price points. This may have missed the mark on the latter. I also would really like to see a broadening of the flavours available in this line - I think the introduction of more unique pairings can really set this apart as a home-grown, Canadian competitor to those other premium brands, but the current range is a bit lackluster.
All this being said, it's an excellent (somewhat) locally-produced premium ice cream that's well-stocked and easy to find, great-tasting, and velvety smooth.

Absolutely loved it

First off I absolutely love that the company actually filled the ice cream as full as it possibly could go (not many do anymore), next the taste is absolutely phenomenal- it reminded me of a frosty but sooo much better. I can definitely see this ice cream being a staple in our house this summer.

It's icecream! It can't possibly be bad!

First off, it's icecream...so there is no reason why this would be a bad or negative review. I prefer vanilla to chocolate generally but for chocolate-lovers, I think this would hit the spot. Finding the ice cream in the aisle with all the other options made me want to try the other more adventurous flavours though! The size of the pint is perfect; too much for one person to (acceptably) finish in one sitting but great for someone who just wants to sneak a spoonful once in a while for a cold chocolate indulgence. The icecream is smooth like the classic Chapman's recipe and the dark chocolate flavour is not too intense. I don't think this line of icecream should not be used in things like floats or as a side accompaniment; this icecream should be enjoyed on it's own because it's so delectable and feels more special.

An indulgent treat

I tried the chocolate brownie. This ice cream is delicious and creamy and was equally loved by my kids and nieces. I also like that the packaging is recyclable and it’s a sustainable product. The only downside is there is 33 grams of sugar per serving which seems high for ice cream. Good for an indulgent treat every once in awhile.
