    Maple leafed shaped cookies.

When I was a child my dad used to buy these cookies all the time. That being said they were one of my least favorites. I find anything maple flavored to be overly sweet for my taste buds. Thats saying alot for me cause I have quite the sweet tooth. The cookie part is crunchy and crumbly and they are generous with the maple frosting center. They taste very fresh which is typical for Christie cookies. What sets this cookie apart from all other cookies is the maple leaf shape of them. Although these cookies aren't for me these would be perfect for anyone that likes maple flavored sweets.

    A Canadian staple

Christie collection maple leaf cookies are a Canadian staple . They are in the shape of a maple leaf and they Taste like maple . It doesn't get anymore Canadian than that lol the cookie is crunchy and tastes like maple and it has a cream centre that has an even stronger maple flavour . It's not something I would go and purchase but if they're around I will have a couple .

    Canadian Staple

If you love maple syrup, you must try these cookies!! I am addicted to maple leaf cookies since I was first introduced to them at my grandparent's house. The cookies have a nice crunch to them and there is a mild maple flavor to them. The cream inside is rich and decadent. It provides a good maple flavor to the overall flavor profile and a nice texture. These cookies are a reasonable price.

    The ultimate Canadian cookie

When ever you think of Canada the first word that usually comes to mind it maple, so of course the maple leaf cookie would be a staple Canadian cookie. I know I've had these in my home all my life and even though I'm not a fan of artificial maple these cookies are pretty darn good ! There moist and crunchy and you get a nice layer of maple cream yum! Deffently worth the try if you've never had them !

    Canadian Maple Cookies

I am a huge fan of Maple Leaf cookies. The cookies themselves are rich, decadent, and crunchy. The maple filling is sweet and thick. I love taking these as a lunch snack.

I stumbled upon this amazing cookies while I was looking for another cookie that I went to the store for.
After the first bite, I said to myself... this can't be good for me as it is very good, soft and tastes really amazing.
Whenever I go to any airport, I buy the maple cookies they have in any consignment stores. I love the chocolate ones. It never really dawned on me that Maple Leaf cookies are in stores.

My husband said it's very sweet. and it is. 1 or 2 should be enough just to satisfy the sweet craving. Once you open the package, You can smell brown sugar. It's a good scent. Just the scent itself might satisfy your sugar craving. LOL. It comes in a fun shape of maple leaf.

2 cookies has 10g of sugar so if you are watching what you eat, this is not a good choice. Maple Syrup is 5th on the list of ingredients so it's pretty much just there to flavor it. Sugar and glucose-frustose is what makes it very sweet.

All in all, I find it sweet and good enough snack anytime of the day. I do try to just eat 2 to maximum of 4 a day. It can be addictive.
