I loved this lipstick when I had it... but it came in a different shade. It was really nourishing and smooth yet had a very subtle, natural looking color.

I believe this is the colour I had and I loved it (lost it and can't remember the colour name). It feels nice, not sticky.

Every once in a while, you find a product that you love and you continue to love for years. Such is the case with me and Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. I found it many years ago and loved it and I continue to buy it today and still love it.

Clinique Almost Lipstick

This is a thin stick of sheer lip color that isn't as heavy as lipstick but not as sheer as gloss. The Black Honey shade is perfect for everyone. They also have other shades but I never got past the Black Honey because it was perfect for me. I did try a couple of others on and they all were the same. Excellent. They slick on like a gloss but aren't sticky. They wear like a good lipstick - a few hours at least. They flatter and make lips look pretty without the sparkle and razzle dazzle of many of today's lip colors. They give just enough shine without being garish. They work for day and for night. I honestly don't know why I have about 100 other lip colors when really, all I need is Clinique Almost Lipstick. For $14.00, it's a steal. It lasts a long time and is sleek and portable.

My Viewpoint

Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey is my all time favorite lip product. I wear many others - glosses, lip stains, lipsticks, you name it - but this one has been in my make up case for decades. I love it and will buy it until one of us is discontinued - the product or me!

This is a beautiful berry stain that can be layered on for a more intense color and suitable for any day or night no matter what the occassion. I absolutely love it and never thought a dark color would actually look so good (!!) on my fair skin
