I've been using the black pearl Exact Eyelights and while I don't think it brightens anything, I do like the actual mascara. It doesn't flake off nearly as much as other drug store brands I've tried, and I find it doesn't clump very much at all. I would definitely buy it again.

I was not very impressed by this mascara. Although it did seem to slightly brighten my green/gray eyes, it was quite clumpy on my lashes. As well, the wand is flimpsy and inefficient. I wouldn't recommend this mascara. For anyone looking for good mascara at a reasonable price point, I'm currently using Maybeline Volume Express Mascara, which seems to be a good product so far. I'm also a fan of Clinique mascara.

This is a horible mascara, I alreaduy have very bright eyes, but i thought that add more shine, I was wrong. It doesnt do anything with your eye color at all. And it felt like you didnt even apply it.
Its a major rip off.

I hate this mascara!!!! it doesn't make anything to my eye color! I have super long lashes and it doesn't even look like I do with this mascara! I didn't really felt the clean definition they are talking about.... All my lashes were stock together and the brush doesn't work well... It is too small and doesn't reach all lashes. I used small brushes that worked well in the past such as telescopic but this one sucks!!!

I have been using the Covergirl Exact Eyelights Mascara (for brown eyes) for about six months now. I absolutely love this product! The applicator is smaller than most, which makes it much easier to apply the mascara. I especially like that this particular mascara does not leave any clumps. I had a co-worker ask me a few days ago which mascara I wear because she thought I was wearing false lashes - she said there were no clumps on my lashes.

I have used the non-waterproof and waterproof one, and I find they both go on slightly different. The waterproof is great to wear to work, where it is quite warm - and there's risk of my make-up melting off, lol...but this mascara stays put the entire day. It comes off easily with eye make-up remover. The non-waterproof version is great, as well - and is a lot easier to remove.

I agree with some of the other reviewers in that this mascara does not really make your eyes "pop" like its ads claim it does - but then again, most commercials (i.e. for mascara) use computer technology to enhance the eyes of the models/actresses in the ad. Despite this, this particular product has some great qualities that I genuinely appreciate and recommend to other women alike!

I liked this mascara, though from the Covergirl line, LashBlast is still my favorite. This brush is thinner, but still applies great - no clumps! It isn't a wet formula, so it dries quickly and gives great lift to your lashes. I tried the color for hazel eyes, didn't really notice any difference in the overall apperance of my eyes - it didn't make my eyes "pop"; the sparkles aren't really that noticable unless you are looking up close.

Easy to apply, there is no clumping at all.

This is the best masscara I have ever used hands down. It mad my eye colour POP :) I can wear it even without eye shadow :)

I am never disappointed with Cover Girl Mascaras, and although I like this one I have to say that Lash Blast is still my absolute favourite.

I don’t think this mascara particularly brings out the colour of my eyes like it claims to do, but I suppose truthfully I didn’t really expect it to. The shimmer is only visible when you have your nose to the mirror.

As mascara in general it is quite good: it makes my lashes longer, thicker and very dark which I love. I also really like the brush: it’s stiff and combs the lashes really well. It is also long and thin so it’s better for getting the tiny corner of the eye lashes than the thick Lash Blast brush.

Overall it is a good product but I am not blown away so will probably go back to Lash Blast for my next mascara purchase.

I hate this mascara, yet I kinda like it.

It doesn't enhance my eye colour, but that wasn't the reason why I bought it. I just wanted to see if it would work for me. You see, my eyelashes do not hold curl. No matter how much I curl them they just go back to lying flat. I know it's not my technique because I have had other people curl them which leads to the same result.

So, to the mascara. This holds my curl. Not completely, but more than any other mascara I have used. What makes my not love it? The clumps. This is worse than dollar store mascara for clumps. It's also very hard to take off and I always use a few lashes to it.
