I have lots of short lashes and using volume mascara often makes them look chunky and overdone, so lengthening mascaras are my preferred choice mascara formula to use. I was a bit skeptical about this product before I bought it because I usually don’t gravitate towards Cover Girl products and I didn’t like original Lashblast mascara.

The packaging is eye-catching but what really surprised me is the wand, it’s long and thin and has tons of teeny tiny bristles, which I love! Most of my other lengthening mascaras that are very expensive (except for my everyday Rimmel Lycra Extender) and have the same kind of wand as the Lashblast Length, perfect for getting into the corners of the eyes. The formula felt very light and no clumping even after 2-3 coats. By the end of the days there was no flaking, nor did my lashes feel crispy. I will buy this mascara again and plan on using it on a regular basis.

I was happy to receive and try out my CoverGirl LashBlast as part of the product review club. I have been using it for a couple of days instead of my regular mascara (L'oreal Voluminous) and must say I have been converted! I have dark, short and medium fullness lashes, so I am usually go for mascaras promising fullness (over length). However, after trying this formula, I think the length and definition actually makes a bigger difference in looking better.
The brush is longer and thinner (with shorter bristles) than I am used to, but it does a good job of creating long, defined yet feathery lashes that stay flexible (no flaking when dry). It doesn't add much volume, but the formula is silky and glides on smoothly, and stays glossy for a more natural look. One coat for me did the trick.
I also wear contacts and frequently experience "end of the day" urges to rub my eyes (mascara and all). This product didn't irritate at all, and washed off very easily.
Overall, a good drugstore buy with good results. Did slightly better than I expected but did not give "crazy", falsh lash appearing length. Good for daily use.

It`s a lengthening mascara and that is what it does... It did lenghten my lashes fairly well. It defines well, and you can easier build up texture with a 2nd or third coat... without getting crazy spider legs lashes. It`s perfect for a simple, natural look, perhaps more coats could be used for some drama.
I really loved the brush. I`ve tried tons of mascaras, all the new ones with the silicone separating brush but this one blew my away... it`s so clean cut and I got no smudges, my biggest issue with any mascara. It gave an incredibly clean look, and it was easy to use.
Currently I am about 2 weeks into it... I want to see how long it`s gonna last for, as my other issue with a mascara is that it never lasts me for more than one month. So far it`s not flaking, so thumbs up for that.

Over alla pretty good product. If you are looking for a day to day mascara, something easy to use (loove the brush) and nice clean separation and length, this is it. I

So, I have used covergirl mascara's in the past, with varying results, so I was excited to try this new one out. I have mixed feelings about it, but after some consideration I've decided that overall, its a pretty good mascara. I don't wear alot of make up, and am a fan of a more natural look, so in that regards I was very impressed. In the end I think that it did probably lenghten my lashes, but not in a super noticable way- it took a few applications to decide if it was actually working at all. On the bright side, It's super easy to get off, it doesnt clump at all, and keeps my lashes super soft, more so than any other mascara I've ever used. For me, This mascara does what I need it too

I don't wear a lot of make up to begin with, i am more into the natural look. I found that this mascara works wonders! it made my lashes look longer, but looked natural. i will for sure be buying this!

Here is a recap of my life as of late. I am pregnant with my second child, and I am a stay at home mom to a very busy toddler! Plus, I have been suffering from the worst cold of my life. Needless to say, I have not been looking my best.

My son's friend had her 1st birthday party this past sunday, and as I looked in the mirror I could not believe how horrible I looked - exhausted was the main idea. Since I needed to look semi presentable, I thought now would be the time to break out the Lashblast. Well, I have one word - WOW! I can't believe how long my lashes got! I actually felt the mascara lengthen my lashes. They coated my lashes in such an expert manner and expanded them like crazy! They even grabbed the tiny side lashes so effectively.

I am super impressed and will not be returning to my old mascara any time soon!

I received CoverGirl Lashblast Length Mascara in the mail last week and have been using it daily! Previously I only used Clinique or Maybelline on my lashes! What I liked about CoverGirl Lashblast was the fact that upon application there were no clumps AND when it was time to take off the mascara I didn't have to deal with smudges and repeat washing to get it off! Did it make my lashes longer? YES! I love how natural it looks on my lashes and how it really 'opens up' my eyes! Mascara is another product that I'm willing to spend $15 plus on but now that I've tried Covergirl Lashblast and had such great results I'll be using this in the future. It gives me a much more natural look than the other products I've used and that's why I like it so much. I prefer natural looking lashes as opposed to the ones that are so obviously caked with mascara and you can't beat the price for under $10 dollars!

As I've been reading people had some great success with this product, but unfortunatly, I didn't. The mascara itself came in an attractive tube and the packaging was average. The first coat i put i was expecting that dramatic "omg" its so long length, but instead i got an average size of length that you could basically get from any other type of mascara. yes, the product did go on smoothly, no clumps, and i saw no flaking through out the day whatsoever, but I wish that it would increasingly make my lashes longer.
all in all, for me i wouldn't buy this product again for myself as i have curled lashes so it doesn't work well bu I would say it defines them.

this in my opinon is for someone who has straight lashes. great for them, just not for me.

I was lucky enough to receive this product free of charge to review as part of the ChickAdvisor product review club. I was so happy when I found out I was chosen because I had heard a lot about this much anticipated mascara. Cover Girl Lash Blast Length is packaged in a thin yellow tube (completely opposite from Lash Blast in the fat orange tube) and contains an appropriate thin but long and bristled brush as yet again opposed to Lash Blast fatter and shorter brush.

The first time trying this product I found I did not like that the brush does not taper to a fine point at the end as other mascaras do. I have a hard time reaching my inner corner lashes and with this it was no easier. This product does deliver length to the lashes, as supposed to, but I find I like my usual Maybelline Define-A-Lash better. I think it is the brush in Define-a-Lash that I prefer over lash blast length. But to be honest no one was able to tell the difference if I was wearing a new mascara or not. The formula for Lash blast length is also dryer than define-a-lash, which produces a much glossier finish.

So my advice is if you are looking for a new mascara, lash blast length is a nice one to try out, but if you have trouble maneuvering a long brush about your eyes maybe go for original lash blast. I wouldn't go out and buy this mascara just because it is new to the market and promises great length. Stick with your usual mascara.
