I have a pair of black Crocs and I wear them whenever...they are in fact comfortable and are so easy to clean. very practical and great to bring on any trip. but you have to get the real things...the ones selling for less (the fakes) are not anti-bacterial like the real ones. remember, you aren't paying for the style...
Oh Crocs...don't get me started... MissChickie is right they are..F-U-G-L-Y.... I know some people argue that they are comfy but there is no need to ever wear these shoes there are many comfy alternatives out there... These shoes are HIDEOUS. The only thing worse than crocs out there that you could put on your feet are croc-knock-offs. DOWN WITH CROCS! As I said once before we should gather them all and burn em...although they are probably not flammable and would likely just melt into a rainbow colored mess!
I HATE Crocs! Please, Ladies, don't let this go up the hotlist again. They define 'fugly'. They don't flatter anyone - and I don't care how comfortable they are or how easy they are to clean. That doesn't make you look any more attractive in 'em. Pajamas are comfortable too, but would you wear them in public??
If you are a hurricane relief worker or a healthcare worker, go ahead. If not, fugheddaboutit!
I'll admit that they are ugly, but they are so comfy. I wanted a pair just to see what all the hype was about and so I got them as a gift. I love them. They are great if you need to make a quick run to the store, if you're gardening, if you're at the cottage and don't feel like going barefoot. Best of all, they clean really easily unlike other shoes so they are good for bumming around. They may be a bit pricy but, you won't regret the purchase.
You either love them to death or want nothing to do with them. I haven't really met anyone in between (only me). Although I enjoy these very comfortable shoes, I think that they should cost less money. I actually found a pair at Loblaws for $7.00! That's way better than the usual $30.00 I've seen them go for.
They are super comfy, but I have to admit that I feel silly wearing them. The furthest I've worn them is to the grocery store when I needed to pick up one or two things. I may wear them to the beach or a pool area, but other than that, I don't think I would bother. I mostly just use them to do chores around the apartment like take out the trash or check the mail. It's better than putting on slippers. They are more so for when you don't want to wear shoes.
I would recommend these for people who live in dorms (especially if there are public showers, etc). Originally I think these were supposed to be meant for gardening. Funny how they became a fad.
Also- I HATE when people wear them out to bars, etc. That's just too far and stupid.
I dunno, went to the doctor the other day and he was wearing them... would have felt better about it if he was selling geraniums
I think that for health professionals at the hospital, they are cool BUT otherwise they are not my favourite thing. They are supposed to be very good for your feet if you are on them long so they get a point for that but I don't think I'll be picking them up unless I'm going camping....
