Crocs Reviews
#3 in Clogs

Description

These clogs are a closed cell resin which is anti-microbial by nature and resists odor, making these perfect barefoot shoes. A combination of material and design makes the shoe slip resistant. Strategically placed ventilation holes allow water, sand and air to travel through the footwear. Heel strap can be rolled forward for a slip on clog shoe or keep it back for a heel strap. Arch support is built in, making these all day shoes. Non marking outsole.

I do not like Crocs. They make my feet sweat and are slippery. But, I guess resin or plastic will do that.
I had a pair of leather clogs and they were so comfortable, that I wore them out. So, not being able to find leather ones anymore, I opted in trying these. No cushioning , just hard on the feet. No thank you.

Lets start out with the most pressing issue- crocs are Hideous. We all know it- its no secret. They are unflattering on everyone, and they come in either ridiculously bright colours or beige. But, if you can get over that fact, then, you can come to love them. (Though please, not out in public). They are fantastic for when you're going to go out and get dirty, and dont want to ruin a perfectly good pair of shoes- you cant ruin crocs. They are essential for camping. Just be reasonable with them- as long as you know when they're appropriate, they're awesome things. And they couldnt be more comfortable.

While I will admit these are not the prettiest shoes in the world, they are the absolutely most comfortable. I have numerous pair, the original clog style, "fur" lined, and "flip flop" style. I wear them mainly as slippers, but will occasionally wear them to go run errands (completely mortifying my entire family). The fur lined ones are great for colder weather and the lining comes out so it can be washed. They make great shoes for the pool/beach in the summer as well. The fact that they are anti-microbial is great for stinky, nasty kid feet as well.

I do agree with others who say you must get the actual Crocs. Knock offs are not as comfortable and will not last as long.

You either love them to death or want nothing to do with them. I haven't really met anyone in between (only me). Although I enjoy these very comfortable shoes, I think that they should cost less money. I actually found a pair at Loblaws for $7.00! That's way better than the usual $30.00 I've seen them go for.

They are super comfy, but I have to admit that I feel silly wearing them. The furthest I've worn them is to the grocery store when I needed to pick up one or two things. I may wear them to the beach or a pool area, but other than that, I don't think I would bother. I mostly just use them to do chores around the apartment like take out the trash or check the mail. It's better than putting on slippers. They are more so for when you don't want to wear shoes.

I would recommend these for people who live in dorms (especially if there are public showers, etc). Originally I think these were supposed to be meant for gardening. Funny how they became a fad.

Also- I HATE when people wear them out to bars, etc. That's just too far and stupid.

I think that for health professionals at the hospital, they are cool BUT otherwise they are not my favourite thing. They are supposed to be very good for your feet if you are on them long so they get a point for that but I don't think I'll be picking them up unless I'm going camping....
