Alex Plus - Well Sealed

I have an older home. Doors, windows and siding shift. Seasonally - I have to seal gaps and prevent drafts. Trying Alex Plus was a real win. It applies easily, dries quickly and is water tight.

Takes a long time to cure properly

I had high hopes for this product that I used on my door. It went on with a good consistency and was easy to shape. It covered the area well. But, as of 24 hours later it still had not properly set and was still a little gooey. For that reason I only gave 3 stars.

Easy to use and fast drying

I've used DAP products before. I find they get the job done. It's a good price for what you get and I like that it dries fairly quickly. As soon as it's dry, you are able to paint it. The application is easy and straightforward. It can be used both indoor and outdoor, I've personally only used this one for indoor, but have used other DAP products for outdoor with no issues. Not suitable for all surfaces

I did try using it on different surface types, and overall I found that it didn’t seal well based on different surface types that were tried.
It may be worth a try for you, however, depending on the nature of your own tasks.

Worthwhile product!

My husband uses this product all the time at his work. At home he used it on our shower and it’s amazing! Waterproof, easy to use and super easy to clean up! This is definitely a product we will buy often as doing out home renos! 100% worth the purchase!!
