Easy application, quick dry!

We have used DAP products in the past, particularly the spackling kit for patching up our drywall. So when we got the opportunity to test out their sealant, we were ecstatic!

We used it for our windows, baseboards, and sinks and it worked great!

It glides smoothly and very easy to apply. It's so easy that a beginner like me can apply and look like a pro!

I hope they come up with a clear coliur one so I can apply to my faucets! It currently only come with white.

Consistently reliable & easy to use

DAP has long been a staple brand in my DIY repertoire. This product was easy to use and got me through re-caulking the baseboards and casings during my bathroom refresh in less than 15 minutes. Though the house is now 14 years old and some of the baseboards are due for a replacement, refreshing the cracked caulking was an easy fix to tide me over until the time comes for a complete overhaul. It dries quickly which means no waiting to move on to the next step in my projects. The bright white color also helps freshen everything up. Felt grainy

When using it felt like it was drying too quickly. It was grainy feeling while applying, and didn’t lay down smoothly. Continued to drip while using an application gun, even without pressure being applied.

Great paint ready sealant.

This is a great, fast drying sealant that will not shrink. You can easily apply paint 15 minutes after application so you don't have to wait to finish your products. An essential with DIY!

Easy to use

I do all my home repairs on my own (I'm not a professional) and this was easy to use and has been holding up well so far! Dries quick and doesn't smell. Definitely recommend!

This was easy to use. My husband tried it around a fountain we had outside. It seemed to seal easy enough. He was happy so that makes it a win for me!

Works great!

DAP Alex Ultra Advanced Latex Sealant is amazing! It is an acrylic Latex sealant designed to not crack. I found that it was easy to apply, it went on smoothly and stuck well to our deck. Perfect for that home project

I was so excited to test this product. It came at the perfect time for resealing around our tub. I was impressed to to see it has a low shrink, durable, and flexible formula that applies smoothly and easily. Another bonus when working in small spaces is its low odour. It claims to adhere to a wide variety of surfaces which makes it convenient for a variety of projects and is mould and mildew resistant which is great for this bathroom projects. Plus it’s affordably priced.

Making touch ups easy!

We are moving out of our place, and after living in the house for 3 years, we needed some touch ups! This was easy and clean to use and we wont have to worry about our rental deposit!

Great product

I received the DAP ALEX ULTRA Advanced Latex Sealant from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. My husband was really excited that I received this product because he loves to fix up things in the house. A few weeks ago, the kids had managed to break off our towel holder in the powder room. My husband reinforced it, patched it up and painted that area and then reinstalled the towel holder. However, because he had to reinforce it, there was a little gap around the base of the holder and the wall. This was perfect timing as he was able to use this sealant in between those gaps and make it look even again. The sealant dried fairly quickly and I love that it's water resistant since it is being used on the towel holder itself. He tells me this is a really good sealant and definitely recommends it! I'm just glad the gap is gone.
