It's abit on the heavier side if you have to lug it around for travelling and stuff but safety comes first! We have been checking it in when we travel and have had no problems with it so far. We had a hard time finding a carseat that doesn't require a whole lot of room for our yaris as most carseats in the rear facing mode basically took up all the space to the point where we had to fold the passenger seat down... let alone to have a passenger in the front. With diono raidan, it was still taking up quite abit of space when we had it rear facing but at least if we wanted to fit someone in the front we could still manage to do so.

Very versatile car seat that be be rear-facing (5-45lbs) or forward-facing (22-65lbs) with 5-point harness and can convert to booster for children upto 120lbs. Folds flat for storage or travel. Comes with infant body support cushion and 1 cup holder. This is a great car seat that will last. Only con is that my baby keeps pulling out the entire cup holder and throwing it.
