This mask is thick and creamy but not greasy, it has a texture that is heavier than a gel but still has that "wet" gel feeling. There isn't much scent - I don't think there is any fragrance added, it just smells like the basic ingredients to me. I really like this product, it is hydrating and rich. I use it twice a week through the winter and only as needed in the summer. I find it's a great compliment to the hydrating bubble mask.
