I accidentally bought the wrong colour, but I still gave it a shot (just with a lighter hand). For this product, the crayon is thin, so be careful on how much pressure you are applying with. I use light strokes going with my hair growth and it creates nice feather hair like appearance. I won't be jumping out of my car to repurchase this, but it is not bad. I cannot say how it is with the Anastasia one, as I have never tried it, but I do like the spooly on the em cosmetic one.
