I was hesitant to try this product because there's a lot of ingredients that I don't recognize. However, I was catching a cold one day and I was encouraged to take this product and low and behold, I recovered really quickly.
This mix in the drink tasted very good and it was cool to watch it change colour from a pale yellow to a bright orange. The fizziness on my tongue was a pleasant feeling and it tasted like a healthy orange crush drink. The price for just vitamin c is average, not a great deal or anything but if it was cheaper I wouldn't mind getting it again.
I got a sample of this from the Emergen-C website and I got exactly what I expected. The orange taste is a bit strange but if you aren't a healthy eater this is a great way to get some vitamins into your system
I'm not too sure about this product. The times I've taken it was to relieve my throats more. I've taken it both hot and cold. For the price I'd rather take a vitamin c supplement so you don't have added ingredients like sugar and whatever it is to make it fizz. Also it has a high vitamin c content but that wouldn't matter if it's not time realeased as your body will just pee it out.
I have used Emercen-C a few times while I had a cold, or had a cold coming on. It seems to help a bit, but not amazingly. It does taste decent though and if it does prevent a cold from happening, Id drink it every day.
I like that this mix has a bunch of vitamins and healthy stuff all tossed into one little packet. It has double the dose of Vitamin C than one of my chewable tablets offer. Be sure to read the directions and drink Emergen-C with food and a couple hours before or after taking other meds. If you don't, you'll get wicked heartburn - so, follow the directions. It also stresses to take just 1 packet a day. It'd be nice if the directions were written a bit larger, but they need the room on the package for all the medicinal ingredients (which, in itself is impressive for a little 9-gram pouch).
The taste of this orange flavour is pretty awful. It reminds me of what stale or rotten orange juice must taste like - so believe me, it's not easy to drink this stuff with just water. Maybe it'd be better in juice or flavoured water. When drinking it, it's almost like drinking a flat can of pop that was left out too long.
All I do is take a drink, take a bite of sandwich, take a drink, take a bite - and so on.
First of all, thumbs up for taste. I don't usually like anything orange flavour because it reminds me of the cold syrup I was forced to take whenever I had cold during the winter months. (yuk!) But this one was surprisingly pleasant. It was refreshing especially mixed with cold water and some ice cubes to give extra boost to my energy! Because I had a coupon for this product I bought this with a fairly good deal, but I am not sure if I would pay the regular price for this product. I drank my emergen-c super orange before I hit the gym and I think it did give me more energy than usual. Overall I would recommend this product.
These are convenient to take while traveling (as long as drinking water is available) since they are individually packaged in small pouches. The taste is nice and I feel like they do help prevent you from getting sick. However, they seem to be very expensive compared to other Vitamin C drink mix.
I tried this after receiving a few samples and I thought the taste was good. It is a refreshing way to get your Vitamin C. It dissolved nicely. I do find it overpriced and will probably stick to chewable Vitamin C for that reason.
I have been consuming these for years...I know that there are recent news studies to dispute the efficacy of these drinkable vitamin products but I personally love them. They are portable and I usually have a few packs in my desk or in my handbag during cold season or when I fly and as another reviewer mentioned I swear they stave off colds but it could be psychosomatic/placebo effect...
