A Calm Comforting Barrier Cream for Stressed Skin

As a busy mom, I am usually skeptical when I try a new moisturizer because my skin can be picky. This was my first time using the Erborian Centella Barrier Cream (gifted), and I started reaching for it because my face has been feeling stressed and tight lately from weather changes, not enough sleep, and just life.
It feels really comforting the second it goes on. The texture is rich but not heavy, and it melts in instead of sitting on top of my skin. I was worried it might feel greasy, but it did not. It left my skin feeling hydrated and calm.
I have been using it morning and night for about a week, and the biggest change is how much less irritated my skin feels. The redness I usually get around my cheeks and nose looks more toned down, and I am not getting that dry, irritated feeling by mid-day. It also layers well under makeup, which matters because I do not have time to deal with pilling when I am trying to get everyone out the door.
I love that it is one simple step that makes my skin feel more balanced and comfortable. If you are new to barrier creams or your skin has been acting up, this one is an effective product for that.

I like the hydration...

I really liked the hydration of this product, but I didn't like the smell. That being said I would buy it if they fixed the smell. I live closer to the mountains, so my skin barrier is always in need of something like this.

This cream is amazing if you have sensitive or irritated skin, Have a creamy texture that absorbs nicely without feeling heavy or greasy. It does a great job supporting the skin barrier and reducing redness over time.

Hydrating bomb

I’ve been loving the Erborian Centella Barrier Cream for when my skin feels stressed or dry. The texture is rich but melts in beautifully without feeling heavy. Good product, not amazing

This product is good, super hydrating and helped makeup stay, however I didn't notice a huge difference in my skin from using it. Good for hydration, but that's about it!

It leaves the skin super calm, provides great hydration, and blends beautifully into the skin. It’s not sticky at all and is suitable for sensitive skin. I was able to use it perfectly under makeup.

A soothing barrier cream!

This barrier cream does help strengthening the skin barrier while calming redness and irritation. The texture is rich yet comfortable, making it ideal for stressed, sensitive, or over-exfoliated skin, and it layers well under makeup. With regular use, skin feels more balanced and less tight. The only drawback is that it may feel a bit heavy for very oily or acne-prone skin, especially for daytime wear.

Really hydrating

I am really impressed by this. It has a great gel cream consistency but provides great hydration. For me this is perfect for night but for dry skin this would be lovely during the day and under makeup!

It’s good

This cream seems pretty good, but I would think twice before buying it again. It moisturizes the skin well and prevents dryness. It spreads easily and doesn't make the skin oily.

Love

This cream just sinks into the skin leaving it hydrated and soothed. The texture is creamy and love the plump feel it leaves behind. It is well worth it. Must try.
