Great alternative to electronics

My kids have really enjoyed playing with this. It’s a great alternative to electronics while at appointments or on drives in the car. They all can’t wait for it to be their turn so they can draw me pictures. We also love how colourful it is. Great toy and it seems pretty sturdy, since my kids also seem to break all their toys.

Hours of fun!

I received the Etch A sketch Freestyle 2-1 for free to try from #FamilyRatedClub. The kids love it. They love the bright colors and the pen/paint brush option. I like that it is light weight and easy to travel. I would definitely recommend it!

Kids LOVE it!!

My 5 year old son and 8 year old daughter loves this Etch A Sketch. My daughter really enjoyed the multi-color effect as well as using both the pen and the paint brush. Having a button to erase is also awesome, much better than having to shake it.

7 year old Loves it!

I wasn't sure at first as the box is light and it's not like an original etch a sketch but my daughter loves it. The picture is bright and it's easy to clear with the push of a button. It's essentially a boogie board my daughter loves that it comes out as rainbow.

Toy That Kids Fight Over

I recieved this Etch A Sketch and my son and my niece and nephew love this toy and only want to play with this toy and no other. I also love the upgraded design and colors compared to the Etch A Sketch I had when I was a child. Definite a great toy for my sons learning and for me as well.

Nostalgic bliss

My daughter loves this toy (however, not as much as my husband ;) ) it's a great modern day interpretation of the classic etch a sketch. Sturdily built, and easy to pack for a car ride. I did however find that the paintbrush end was not the most useful, but it didn't impact enjoyment. Love it!

Great portable drawing toy

This is a great drawing board for my boys. They both had a chance to play on it and gave it 2 thumbs up. They loved the colors and how they have an ombre effect is. The double sided pen was a huge hit too it gave them opportunity to add texture to their drawings . My one son is a great drawer and loves to add as many extras to his drawings as he can. I also noticed you can use anything (softer) to draw with to add even more style to your drawings. I like the size because it is portable and easy to draw on but would love to have a bigger option especially for my 9 yr old drawer he kept running out of space for his masterpiece lol .

Colorful and fun creations

Couple days ago my family and I received Etch A Sketch freestyle board from #FamilyRatedClub. So far my children love it and having a lot of fun creating different art. I think this boogie board is also good for practicing letters, numbers, shapes, as well as take with you during car ride. Even my toddler loved to create with it. I don’t know how long it will last due to the high and rough usage in my home by my 7year old, 5year old and almost 2year old children. So far my children and I can recommend it, because we’re having a lot of fun using it. Only one negative aspect is that upper part is too dark and some images don’t look as good as it could be. #gotitfree

Nice and compact

We got this product for free and my son has liked it so far! Is an entertaining product ideal for road trips as it doesn't take much space and is easy to use. It has an erase button non the back that makes it easy to just start over without much effort. We liked the pen side, the brush is very stiff and a bit hard to use on the screen tho... Either way, I'll recommend it to friends with kids

Fun but not an Etch A Sketch

The freestyle is a really fun product but it is literally exact like the boogie board (which I already have). I was a bit disappointed in the fact that you don’t even shake it to erase your drawing like the old school type. There is a button on the back that you push and it turns the screen back to black.
My daughter likes the rainbow colours and I like the dual sided pen so you can draw or “paint”. The brush does realistic looking brush strokes which is pretty cool.

All in all, it is a neat product but it’s missing that true “Etch A Sketch” feeling. But it will keep the kiddos quiet and entertained at home or while travelling so that’s always a bonus in my books!
