    Not Effective

I didn't see any real change in my skin when I used this product. I don't use a lot of peels because my skin is dry and sensitive, but I wanted to try this to see if it would help with black heads, etc. It seemed to work a bit better on my chest, but I've had to really glop it on to get any benefit.
My husband also tried it without seeing results.
I think there are better peels out there.

    Feel the burn!

Last year I got to do the FAB challenge from a Sephora sample which included the daily radiance pads and this intensive peel mask. I was REALLY impressed with how it performed so I had to get a full size. It's a clay mask, and the kaolin and charcoal are meant to lower the pH of your skin so that the acids are more effective. And this mask is definitely effective, because it tingles. And that tingle gets stronger, so those with sensitive skin start slow. Valerie's tip: rinse with COOL water to remove, as hot water seems to intensify the tingling burn.

    LOVE IT

I read amazing reviews on the sephora website for this product while I was looking for facial peels. Although this wasn't the "peel" I was looking for (I wanted one that I literally peeled off) This had really good reviews so I thought I'd try it out. The price is fairly expensive, $50 CND, so I asked for a sample of it at sephora. Took it home and I love it. I will be purchasing it! It does burn your skin a bit, but it's a good burn! If you have sensitive skin I would start off with 1-2 mins then work up to the 5 mins. I left it on for 3-4 mins and my skin felt so smooth and fresh after. This is probably the best facial peel/mask I've used on my skin and I have sensitive skin.

    Stings a little but works!

This stuff is intense! I’ve been using this facial radiance intensive peel by First Aid Beauty for a little under a year (only max once a week) and I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s been great at getting rid of any surface texture and rejuvenating my skin when need be. It does feel like your face is melting off so I definitely recommend testing it on your hand first!! But it really does work

Sad that this isn't cruelty-free, works so well!

A lot of people take issue with the tingling/burning sensation of this peel, but I am one of those weirdos that actually liked it! What was also great about this peel was how opaque it was so you could tell you were getting even coverage all over your face, and the little sponge they provided felt so much better on the skin that brushes or spatulas. I most definitely noticed my skin looked brighter by the time I ran out of it!
