I enjoy using this machine to keep my food fresh. It's easy to use and the instructions are easy to follow. I can also reseal opened bags of chips to keep my chips fresh. I don't need to find a container anymore when I can use this vacuum seal to seal things easily. I was also super excited to use the marinate function. It cuts the time for marinating my meat to mere hours. I did a marinade and tried to see how it tasted after in the same day instead of my usual refrigerate overnight. The flavours were optimal and up to my satisfaction.

Such a Life Saver

Okay, so I finally gave in and got myself a @foodsaver vacuum sealer (the 2-in-1 system with the handheld attachment), and let me just say — I totally get the hype now. 😅

I didn’t realize how much food I was tossing out until I started using this thing. From sealing leftover pasta to freezing marinated chicken in bulk, it’s become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. It’s so satisfying watching all the air get sucked out and knowing my food will last so much longer without freezer burn.

What I love:
✅ Super easy to use – just pop in the bag and it pretty much does the rest.
✅ The handheld part is a game changer for sealing zipper bags and containers.
✅ Saves me time AND money (hello Costco-sized portions 👋).
✅ It’s great for meal prep!

A couple of things to note:
➖ You do need special bags or rolls (which can get a bit pricey).
➖ If you’re not careful with how you line up the bag, the seal might not be perfect.
➖ It does take up a bit of counter space, but honestly worth it if you’re using it often.

Summer BBQ hack in minutes!

I’ve been using the FoodSaver Preserve Vacuum Sealing System from a couple of weeke, and it’s actually been super helpful, especially with summer cooking like marination & last minute Bbq parties.

The marinate mode is probably my favourite—I used it before a BBQ and the food was ready to grill in like 10 minutes. Super quick, and the flavour was great.

I’ve also been using it to seal leftovers and snacks, and it just makes things stay fresh longer. The handheld part is easy to use and tucks right into the main unit, which is nice if you hate extra clutter.

Overall, it’s been a really useful little addition to the kitchen.

Fabulous Tool to Preserve Food

I tried the FoodSaver Preserve Vacuum Sealer and was so impressed by how easy it was to customize the size bags I wanted and to vacuum seal food to refrigerate or store in the fridge to extend the shelf life. It doesn’t take up a lot of space, is easy to use and has allows me to save money by reducing food waste! I recently went strawberry picking and vacuum sealed them to freeze to avoid them from going bad. I highly recommend the FoodSaver to reduce food waste :)
