Gerber Training Pants (6-pairs), 3T, Boy's Colors - Fits 32-35 lbs. Reviews

Gerber Training Pants - 6 Pairs - These are a wonderfully basic training pant that can be an effective potty training tool. The center panel consists of front and back layers of 100% combed cotton and the absorbent interior is a 50/50 cotton/poly blend. These training pants have enough absorbency for little leaks on the way to the toilet and are inexpensive enough to keep plenty on hand. They are also great under pants for toddlers from size 2T through size 4T. $19.95 for a six pairs in white, boy's colors or girl's colors. Colors and prints vary over time and are not necessarily as shown in the photo.

These are SO much better than Pull-Ups! I taught preschool (and potty trained) hundreds of kids over the years. In the beginning disposable training pants are great for at night and in a pinch (car rides, illness, out of the house) but then I'd switch to these ASAP. They are easier for the kids to use - no flaps on the sides or bunching elastic that gets worn out over the day. They are absorbent and have extra fill in the crotch to hold minor accidents.

The most important thing is that the child can tell when they've had an accident. The disposables absorb so well the children can't tell when they've gone, remember the cold sensation Pull-Ups? When they can tell they've gone they won't be sitting in urine/feces like I've heard concerns over, they'll want to use the bathroom/clean up. For a few dollars, these are worth a try!
