I love that this is a plant based sunscreen, but my excitement stops there. I was a bit disappointed that this had difficulty absorbing into the skin. It is a thick and heavy cream formula (the face version is lighter) and It leaves a prominent white/blue film of the product on until it is completely absorbed, which seems like it takes ages of rubbing (definitely not a throw on and go out type of product). Afterwards, however, there is no greasy feel or chemical smell - in fact the smell of the lotion is pretty great; I picked up some lavender in it's scent!

You can tell that this is truly waterproof by the amount of time it takes you to clean it off your hands. If you are going to buy this and give it a go, I would suggest getting a small bottle. Since it is a natural product, it does expire rather quickly - even more so than the packaging states.

Formula: a creamy lightweight lotion that goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly without any greasy residue. You can wear all your delicate and light colored summer fashions without worrying about product transfer because the sunscreen stays dry. Even though it's thoroughly absorbing it's moisturizing with a fresh citrus herbal scent. The scent is really nice, it's smells like a cool beach fragrance. The most important part is the broad spectrum SPF 30 protection and it's water resistant -- up to forty minutes -- feature. You need sunscreen anyway so why not buy a safe, chemical free natural alternative. I genuinely loved using and recommend you buy Goddess Garden. Have fun and stay safe this Summer!
