I tried these with my 4 year old and I am pretty happy with the outcome.
I like how it sticks to the mattress and doesn't move when the child tosses and turns and she doesn't even notice it's there. I was I guess in a sense lucky that we did have an accident while the mat was on the bed.My daughter is an occasional bed wetter more so when she comes back from her grandmothers this being she has to wear pull ups there her grandmother won't let he sleep without them "in case" of an accident so my daughter thinks it's ok to wet herself if they are on and forgets she isnt wearing them when she is home. It absorbs well and doesn't soak through the mattress and you throw it away so you don't have to constantly wash it like plastic and I have tried the plastic bed protectors and they are to big even if you do only have to wipe them down. Overall the bed mats are a great product and will purchase these

I received this product from Chick Advisor to test. I was very skeptical about this product as it is to be placed directly onto the sheets and not under. My son is 5 years old and the mat was still on the sheets the next morning, even though my son did not have an accident that night. I kept it on for a second night and the next morning, the mat was taped on my son :) He did not have any accidents during those 2 nights but for kids who regularly have accidents or are recently potty trained, it would be nice to have to protect the sheets. I would still use the Good Nights to save the pjs too but to add that as an extra protection is good.

I am glad I was able to try this product as it is soemething I would not have purchased on my own.
Simple to use and my son was not embarassed of it. He's 4 and has been using a plastic sheet that makes noise when he moves on the bed.
He loved that he was able to help put the mat on and even said it added extra comfort to his bed. My son has occassional accidents and I was impressed with the durability of the product as it did not tear over a few nights of use without an accident.
Once the product was used I was happy with the results. It made 2am clean up much faster and easier. It didn't leak or drip when removed from the bed and the stick came off without a problem leaving no residue behind.
This will be a welcome addition inbto my home.

I am lucky because I had my daughter fully potty-trained when she was 2 1/2.
We started when she turned 2.
However, she still has the odd accident at night.

I had the opportunity to try GoodNites Disposable Bed Mats from ChickAdvisor.
It is my first time using bed mats, and let me tell you - this bed mat is great.
They are so easy to use, and are good quality bed mats, so you know they won't fall apart if she sleeps on them or soils them.
If you are unsure, there are simple instructions written on the packaging.
They are large enough to cover a big portion of the bed, and they have adhesives to prevent sliding and moving around when she sleeps at night.
The adhesive has a good grip so you dont need to worry it peeling off.
It is comfortable so she can sleep peacefully throughout the night.
I have seen these at Walmart for under $14 for 9 bed mats.
Personally I wouldn't purchase them because I found them to be more expensive than her pull ups.
However, I would recommend these to other parents who does not mind the price.

It works! I have 3 boys 2 who just finished training and an older one with the biggest problem with it. I tried it on his bed and it didn't go off the pad and onto the mattress. The price seems a bit expensive unless I can get an amazing deal a shower curtain duck taped to the mattress is still the cheapest option for us. I will pick some up for camping and travelling though!

When my son announced out of the blue that he no longer wanted to wear GoodNites training pants to bed at night, I panicked at the thought of not only an increase in laundry, but also a ruined mattress. GoodNites Disposable bed mats let us both get what we wanted; my son could lose the training pants and I could protect his mattress while respecting his push for independence.
