Medicine flavour was awful

Flavour of this medicine was horrible. We have a different kind of medicine the same brand with great taste to it. My child refused to taste this kind.

I was fortunate enough to be selected to try this for free. I was so hoping for this medication to help my Daughter who is in daycare because there is so much risk of getting sick. Unfortunately, I have not noticed an improvement with recurrent respiratory tract infection and it did not seem to reduce her time with symptoms when she was sick. I continue to give her this every morning and hopefully with more time I will notice an improvement and reconsider this review.

Bad taste

I had the opportunity to test this product in exchange for my honest review. I tried it for a week or two, but my kids really didn’t like the taste of it and it was difficult to convince them to take it. It did seem to prevent them from catching any colds or flu’s, but I couldn’t get my kids to take it at all after a while. It might be better with an orange flavour since my daughter said it had a sour taste to it. I would not buy this or recommend this product unless they come out with a flavoured version.

Not a win for my kid!

Uh-oh! As much as I was excited to give this new product a try, my kid didn’t feel the same haha! I believe he would have prefer something sweeter or with natural flavours added. It took a fee days to get him to taste, and finally it was mixing it to some orange juice that worked best for us. Another thing I personally didn’t like is that the bottle has to be kept in tue fridge once opened. I have enough clutter in my fridge I wish I didn’t have to add one more bottle… other than that I like everything this Natural Defense supplement promises. Honestly, winter’s right around the corner and viruses are already kicking us down so I’d rather try everything I can!

I wanted this to work

I like this brand. I like the economically friendly glass bottle. I like how the dosage chart was easily accessible and i didn't have to search for it. Unfortunately, neither of my 4 year-old twins liked it, I couldnt get them to take a dose after my husband and I tried on multiple days. I tried it myself, and it was a little sour/ bitter tasting.

Love the concept, hate the taste!

We were really excited to try out this new product, Helixia Kids Natural Defence. Thrilled that we were selected from Butterly to try it out for free. When taken accordingly it claims to reduce the incidence of recurrent upper respiratory tract infections due to its ability to regulate the immune system.
As a mum of two young, school aged children we have frequent sick days, which means missed work, and other activities. With a product that can support our health and livelihood on the market we were beyond hopeful. Unfortunately my kids could not get past the taste. The product claims ideal results if taken over a 3-6 month period, results have shown ear infection reduction by 61.7% and sore throats by 53%. I sure hope it can help others, and we would be willing to try again with a new flavour option.

Not really helping

My kid happened to be coughing for a week. Tried this but it didn’t really help to reduce coughing or sooth sore throat. I am not sure if it would help with less severe cough. Will try next time
