Innovative

I have been trying the Solis Sunscreen and while I love the lightweight feel I have to be honest it leaves a white cast on my melanin-rich skin.
It might not be a dealbreaker, but if you’re deeper toned like me, just know it might not blend in fully unless layered with makeup.

it's become my go-to pick for sun protection without messing up my makeup. The powder formula glides on effortlessly, mattifying my skin and keeping shine in check. It blends perfectly—
no white cast-and gives my complexion a smoother, more even finish, especially after lunch when I reapply over foundation.
One thing worth mentioning: it's not waterproof, so if l end up sweating or spend a lot of time outdoors, I definitely need to layer it.

If you're looking for a low-mess, mineral-duo sunscreen that blends effortlessly and keeps your face shine‑free, this is a game-changer. Love the product - not the mess

I really like this product and how well it protected me from the sun. My biggest complaint with it was the packaging. When you do as instructed and flip it upside down/hit on a hard surface to get the powder to be on the brush, when you open it right side up, powder flys everywhere. Seems like a waste of product and makes a big mess. But again, the product itself was fabulous (hence the 4 star rating!)

It's my go-to setting powder

I enjoy using this powder because it's convenient to use for setting my makeup and I feel protected from UV rays since it has sun protection properties. It's definitely feels super light weight but it does provide the setting effect I want after I put my make up. I also like to use it for its shine-free properties. I like that it comes with a brush so it's easy to apply on the go when I'm on the road. It's also small enough to fit in my purse to apply whenever and wherever.

SPF on the go!

Finally my forgetfulness won't keep me from wearing sunscreens. It sounds a bit lazy, but whenever I put on my make-up and I'd forget to start with a liquid sunscreen, I would simply skip it - obviously not a smart move for my skin's health, and very risky since I am pale and burn quickly. Now I have no excuses because this powder fits in all my purses, I can take it on the go without worrying of anything spilling or leaking, I don't even have to remember packing the brush because that's included aswell! The packaging is very smart and convenient, the shade match was fantastic for me - and I think if the shade range was expanded a bit more, it would be even more accessible for potential customers with darker skin. As a hijabi, I cover my scalp - but women with braids would likely profit from a powder SPF that matches their complexion and can be easily applied between the braids, so I'd applaud adding darker shades being added to this product line.

Sun Kiss with Extra Protection

Have you heard of powder sunscreen? And tinted powder sunscreen? This is the first time I’ve tried this mineral powder with SPF 50 from IDC Dermo and I love it. I even got it for free from them in partnership with Butterly.
I love makeup and wear it whenever I go out, so it was very difficult to reapply sunscreen during the day.
