This price of this baby oil is great. A little bit of this stuff goes a long, long way, so a bottle will last forever. It is oil, so obviously it is greasy, but it does absorb into the skin quickly. I found it to be very helpful for removing cradle cap and that dry, flaky skin all newborns tend to get. I use it on my own skin from time to time when it gets really dry. It's also nice in a bath once in a while. I usually have a bottle of this in my house, even when I don't have a baby.
my sons skin had been dry and red for awhile, i thought to myself. lets try some oil n c if it works, maybe mix it with lotion etc. so i did. i used johnsons oil with aveeno lotion and it cleared up his dry skin on the back of his thighs in 3 days. it was gone after he had had the rash for weeks. i also love the way it leaves the skin feeling, not greasy n soft. plus side also it smells good!
Très bonne huile pour bébé. Plusieurs utilisation possible. Je l"utilise pour hydrater ma peau suite à un bain. Elle hydrate et rend ma peau douce comme un bébé. Je la recommande!
Johnsons baby oil has been used by our family years back. Now that Im a mother, its my turn to use this to my twins. I apply this before taking a bath. I also used this when giving my twins a massage. Also great in removing make up, making skin moisturize, dab some in my cottonbuds in cleaning ears, and lots of other uses. I love Johnsons!
I love using this in the winter. I have really dry skin on my hips, legs, etc. After the shower, I lotion up and then rub the oil on. It keeps my body well moisturized for a lot longer than the lotion. The oil is absorbed into the skin quite quickly so you don't feel oily and greasy for long. The scent isn't too overpowering either and goes away within a few minutes. The bottle lasts an incredibly long time as well. The bottle is large so I dispense it into a smaller 100ml bottle. I started using it in January and after daily use I'm just now hitting the bottom. Well worth the money. I've stopped purchasing body butters entirely.
I like using Johnson & Johnson Baby Products even this Baby Oil. There products smell good & I like the way you don't have to use very much to get the job done.
It's a good product to have in the house, and the scent is nice. it's good for babies but also works for massages, moisturizing (adults too), removing temporary tattoos and getting sticky things off skin.
Johnson's baby products dry out a child's skin, while they moisturize for a moment the skin quickly becomes dry. It is ineffective. On top of that the company that owns J&J;is horrible, unethical, and does not take care of people, enviroment, or issues.
"Now remember, the FDA does not regulate the cosmetics industry, they are self-regulating."
Ingredients in baby products-"The chemicals in question are 1,4-dioxane, a byproduct of the manufacturing process, and the preservative formaldehyde, which is slowly released by a chemical called Quaternium-15 to kill bacteria. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, 1,4-dioxane and formaldehyde both are probable human carcinogens; formaldehyde also is a skin, eye and respiratory irritant."
I do not purchase nor support Johnsons and Johnsons. And frankly neither should any mother who is concerned with the health of their child.
I use this Baby Oil on my body right after I shower and dry off. Within seconds my body feels refreshed and moisturized. I 've been using baby oil on my skin for almost 8 years now. I buy other lotions but always go back to baby oil. I used it on all 3 of kids when they were babies and I still use it on them to this day.,I would buy this oil in bulk if they sold it in bulk. I have the small travel size ones as well as I travel and need to take it with me everywhere. Sometimes I add baby oil to an empty foundation bottle, shake it few times to get that extra dewy but not oily look on my skin.
If I had to choose between the gel and oil, hands down the gel will win. My mother in law still uses it for my kids when we sleep at her home and it does the job.
