Pretty Authentic! Great quality spices!

Having eaten at many Ethiopian restaurants, it was always hard to recreate the same dishes we loved at home. There was always something missing. Well, when I tried this product, it was a hit! My husband thought I actually went out and bought the food from the restaurant. Definitely would buy this product again and again. Spices had a great aroma. A little goes a long way for those not accustomed to using a lot of spice.

Delicious

I made the recipe on the back of the bag. I was a little upset that I had to go to the website to get the directions but I guess that’s okay. The recipe was extremely easy and it made quite a bit of food. My husband and I LOVED the final product. I really enjoy the flavour of the spices and the recipe itself was absolutely delicious. It wasn’t spicy/hot (but I’m a huge fan of spice so it could be hot/spicy to others). I definitely recommend this and will be purchasing it in the future

Great Spice Blend

This spice was fresh tasting and very flavourful. Love the zipper seal on the package as it was easy to lock and stayed sealed. Used this on trout and potatoes to spice it up. It is a little spicy and has a bold flavour. #gotitforfree

I received this spice for free as part of the family rated program. I really enjoyed the flavor of this seasoning blend. It has nice texture and give nice aroma to your dish. Authentic

I received this spice for free as part of the family rated program. This spice mix is extremely fragrant and instantly triggers your mind to think of authentic tasting food. I tried this in a lentil curry as well as on some chickpeas. The flavor is AMAZING. I'm not one for saltiness, however I found it lacked a bit of saltiness. The spiciness level was minimal and allows for all the flavors to meld together. This spice is something I will definitely keep around the house. #gotitfree #honestreview

Great flavour!

I really enjoyed the flavours in this product. It was very easy to use and added great taste to my dish. My kids also loved it. I highly recommend this product.

Doux epicee

Jai recu berbere en echantillon gratuit! J’ai vraiment aime! Cest tres doux! Mon gars a aime aussi! J’ai mis les epices sur du poulet que jai fait cuire pour faire des quessadillas! Avec de la sauce tzadiki humm!!

Great flavor

Absolutely flavorful. Used this in several recipes and it was great. My chicken actually had flavor to it. Nice texture and creates a nice aroma in my home. Such a great blend of spices. Great value in stores, I received the product free however have checked prices out and it is priced appropriately.

Easy, approachable and adventurous!

I love Ethiopian food and while there are a few restaurants in my city, it was definitely fun to make it at home. I've always been a bit afraid of trying to make Ethiopian dishes at home, thinking the spices would be too exotic to find or too time consuming. But this was insanely easy to make with ingredients you can find at any grocery store. I followed the recipe on the back of the package for a Ethiopian chickpea stew which turned out pretty damn good. I would definitely use this again. I loved the packaging. It has a velcro-like seal, so nothing comes out; it just feels more secure. Do note that there is a hint of spice in the seasoning. It is very mild for me but my sister's small children were able to notice it but did not mind it. I really liked that Knorr's website had a variety of recipes for each seasoning. All the recipes looked easy to make and one package really goes a long way. I'm also thinking of adding this to some meat and tossing it on the grill. Would be a great theme dinner. Lots of flavour, easy to use. Step into another world through your plate without leaving the comfort of your home!
