I was not shocked at how luxurious and absolutely delicious this body cream feels and smells. I’ve been blessed enough to try other products from l’occitaine and they are all incredibly fabulous products. This body cream does not leave you feeling sticky or uncomfortable, it settles in, in all the right places and gives you the most beautiful fragrance sillage. You will not be disappointed, this brand hits the march, every single time.

Rich and glowy

I love how it makes my skin very moisturized and very glowy! And it smells really clean. I know it looks greasy but it’s not, it’s more like… glowy! I don’t know how else to describe it. It’s very rich. Perfect for winter, and like me, post vacation.

Perfect for the colder weather

I’ve tried a lot of body creams over the years, but L’Occitane Karité Comfort Ultra Rich Body Cream really stands out. The texture is thick but it melts into my skin within seconds and doesn’t leave me feeling greasy. I started using it during colder months when my skin gets extra dry and tight, and it made a noticeable difference almost immediately. My skin feels softer, calmer, and much more comfortable throughout the day. A little goes a long way, which makes the jar last. Definitely a staple in my routine now.

Body Butter

This body cream is a very thick consistency. It feels like butter, but to my surprise it also absorbs really fast. It's also non-sticky after application. There's a smell of flower and keeps the moisture very long. It's nourishing and the packaging is beautiful. It makes you feel like you are at the spa.

I have always been impressed with L’Occitane products, and this one is no exception. I received the Karité Comfort Ultra Rich Body Cream for free to review and I am genuinely loving it.

The cream is very thick and rich, but it melts into the skin beautifully. A little goes a long way, so the jar will last you ages. It spreads easily, absorbs well, and keeps my skin feeling hydrated all day without feeling greasy.

I have dry skin, and this has made such a difference. I use it all over my body, and I have even dabbed a tiny amount on dry patches around my nose. It works amazingly well with just the smallest amount.

This has definitely become one of my favourite body creams. If you struggle with dry skin, I think you will absolutely love it!!!

Pure luxury in a jar.

If you love the ritual of body care, you need this. The texture is like whipped butter and the scent is that iconic, clean Shea smell that isn't too overpowering. It feels very high-end and leaves a beautiful glow on the skin without feeling like a greaseball. It’s my favorite way to pamper myself after a bath.

Skin Saviour!

Drywall dust often causes intense dryness and cracking. So thankful I was sent L’Occitane Karité Comfort ultra rich body cream free in exchange for my honest review amidst our renovations… It’s the perfect time to put this lotion to the test. So every night I have been using the body cream on my dry hands and I love it!
There is not much of scent, which I wish there was as I am a sucker for a nice fragrance (and is the reason I'm giving 4/5 stars because the scent that is there I don't love), but positives: it is incredibly rich, thick and protective, the lotion melts into the skin to protect against dryness. It helps soothe any discomfort you have from dry skin all while strengthening the skin barrier.

Absolutely lovely

I recently tried the L’Occitane Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream, and it has quickly become one of my favorite skincare products. The texture is luxuriously thick and creamy, yet it absorbs surprisingly well without leaving a greasy residue. It feels incredibly nourishing, especially on dry or rough areas like elbows and knees.

The formula, enriched with a high concentration of shea butter, provides long-lasting hydration and leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth, and supple throughout the day. I also love the subtle, clean scent — it’s comforting without being overpowering.

What really stands out is how effective it is during colder months when my skin tends to get extra dry. With consistent use, I’ve noticed a visible improvement in skin texture and overall moisture balance.

Although it’s slightly on the pricier side, the quality and results make it worth the investment. A little goes a long way, so the jar lasts quite a while.
