Skin Saviour!

Drywall dust often causes intense dryness and cracking. So thankful I was sent L’Occitane Karité Comfort ultra rich body cream free in exchange for my honest review amidst our renovations… It’s the perfect time to put this lotion to the test. So every night I have been using the body cream on my dry hands and I love it!
There is not much of scent, which I wish there was as I am a sucker for a nice fragrance (and is the reason I'm giving 4/5 stars because the scent that is there I don't love), but positives: it is incredibly rich, thick and protective, the lotion melts into the skin to protect against dryness. It helps soothe any discomfort you have from dry skin all while strengthening the skin barrier.

hydrating!

overall i like this cream. its very silky on the skin and moisturizing. however, i am not a big fan of the scent, it is very powdery and reminds me of an old lady.

Rich & Luxurious

I love the rich texture of this formula. It’s thick but spreads nicely, there’s almost like an underlying oil-like and velvety feeling. It glides on and sits on top of the skin for a little bit and absorbs gradually making your skin feel moisturized.

Good product!

I really enjoyed this product! It comes in a beautiful container and the size is great! The product feels amazing, so smooth! There is a bit of a perfume smell but it is pretty subtle! I definitely felt like it made my skin feel amazing!

Functional but with an interesting fragrance

I genuinely enjoyed using this product especially as these winter months have been treacherous. It was very hydrating and it held up through the day. However, I will say that if you don't like scents or fragrance in your lotions then this isn't the one for you.

Staple for dry skin

If comfort had a texture, it would feel exactly like this cream. The Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream melts into dry, stressed skin and leaves behind a soft, cocoon-like finish without feeling greasy or heavy. I love how instantly soothing it is, especially during harsh Canadian winter days when my skin needs real nourishment, not just surface moisture. The subtle, clean scent feels calm and luxurious, and the hydration actually lasts all day.

Extremely Hydrating

This cream comes in a beautiful blue frosted glass container, and smells floral but not overwhelmingly so. It applies so luxuriously as well. It is super thick but absorbs well and makes my skin feel buttery soft. Some lotions make my skin feel itchy when I apply them after shaving, but this body cream did not cause any irritation at all which is a win in my books!

Rich body butter

This body butter is very thick and rich, it feels very luxurious for sure! It has a soft, warm, nutty scent that is very comforting. The downside is that because is so thick, I feel like I need to use more product. Overall, this is something I would consider adding to my daily routine, specially in the winter when I need more hydration for my skin.
