A classic must have!

L’Occitane’s Shea Butter Hand Cream is a classic. Super nourishing, you feel it straight away. It’s rich but doesn’t leave that annoying greasy film, leaving your hands feeling super moiterized and soft. The scent is light, slightly nutty, clean, not overpowering. A little goes a long way, which makes the tube last forever. It’s one of those products that always works and you keep reaching for it without thinking. Pricey for a hand cream, sure. But it delivers. Simple as that.

Amazing hand cream

I have been using this product for the last few weeks and I am loving it. It’s a thick and hydrating cream but it doesn’t leave my hands feeling greasy. It is so moisturizing even after washing my hands I can still feel it working. It’s perfect for the dry winters. It seems pricey for a hand cream but you get so much product so it’s worth it!

Great cream for cold weather

This is a great cream for cold windy weather. It’s very thick and really helps to seal those micro cracks in the skin caused by harsh weather conditions.

My winter essential as a mom

I use the Shea Butter Hand Cream @loccitane at least 5 times a day and I’m not exaggerating.

It’s rich but somehow never greasy, and it makes my hands look instantly smoother and healthier. Also the scent?? Clean, soft, subtle luxury. Not overpowering. Just put together.

Thick, Nourishing, and Worth the Hype...

As a beauty lover who is always trying new hand creams, the L'Occitane Nourishing and Protective Shea Butter Hand Cream truly stands out. The texture is ridiculously thick at first, but it melts into the skin effortlessly and feels instantly comforting. It leaves my sensitive hands smooth and deeply hydrated without any greasy residue. I also love that it is made with organic and fair trade Shea Butter, and it really does soothe, nourish, and protect the skin from dryness. My favourite way to use it is right before bed so it can work overnight, and I wake up with super soft, hydrated hands.
The only reasons I am giving this 4 stars instead of 5 are that the powdery scent may not be for everyone, and it can be a little tricky to squeeze out every last drop from the tube. That said, the flat lid makes it easy to store upright, which helps. Overall, it is a luxurious hand cream that I will keep reaching for, especially during dry seasons.

Works great

Loved testing this product for free in exchange for my honest review! The hand cream is not greasy compared to other hand creams and ointments l've tried. There is no noticeable fragrance and I felt like the cream immediately moisturized without flaring my eczema. I took off a star because I don't like trying to open the sharp cap, it's hard to grip and hurts so I need to use my shirt or a cloth to protect my hand.

Soft and protected

I love this hand cream and how thick it is and my hands actually feel so much better after using it. It's not watery, it absorbs not super quickly but it doesn't leave you sticky. I really like using it before bed at night so I can wake up with soft hands. It has a very light scent to it and isn't overwhelming. Just a perfect hand cream. I was sent this to try for free but I would definitely buy it again.

Winter must-have!

I’ve been using the Shea Butter Hand Cream from L’Occitane en Provence and I honestly understand why it’s such a cult favorite. My hands get really dry, especially in colder weather, and this is one of the few creams that actually makes a difference right away. The texture is rich and creamy, but once I massage it in, it doesn’t leave that uncomfortable greasy layer — it just feels soft and protected.

What I love most is how long the hydration lasts. I don’t feel like I need to reapply every hour, and my hands stay smooth even after washing them. The scent is very soft and clean, slightly nutty from the shea butter, which makes it feel luxurious but not overpowering.

Yes, it’s a bit pricier than regular hand creams, but for me it’s worth it because it actually works and feels elevated. If you struggle with dry hands and want something that feels nourishing but still elegant, this is definitely one I’d recommend.

Thick & nourishing!

Ohhhhhh, nice and THICK but not greasy. Perfect for the cold, biting, dry, prairie winters! This came at a perfect time to test out, in the middle of winter. I am a bit of germaphobe and I wash my hands a lot.. so they do get dried out and sometimes even my thumb and pointer finger tips can crack and bleed. This L' Occitane 20% Shea Butter Hand Cream seemed to actually help and the fragrance in it wasn't overwhelming or irritating. On that note though, there is fragrance and it reminds me of my Gramma but not in a bad type of way. Powdery perhaps. Just reminds me of a fragrance that I would smell that she used! It is comforting but I can see that it could be quite distracting if you don't like this fragrance or fragranced products.

This handcream is THICK! I love the texture especially in the winter and it really does bring moisture and nourishment to my paws! I didn't realize that there is other percentages of shea butter hand cream in their line up, that's really a great idea. I have sensory issues but this hand cream doesn't irritate them, which is HUGEEEE for me. It does take a bit to soak in but once it does, my hands feel so incredibly hydrated and happy. I didn't even have to use a lot of it to get relief, so I know this tube will last me a long time. I may have to invest in a tube key though to get the product out most effectively, and sort of wish I had one sent along but, eh, that's a first world problem.

My Mom also suffers from especially dry hands in the winter and when she was at my house, she used this and she even noted how much that it helped her hands. Momma bear approval is always a good thing to note.

All in all, I'm super stoked on this and I have no complaints honestly. Yes this is an incentivized review but I really don't have any legit complaints.

Perfect for this cold winter!!

If you’re in Canada then you know it’s super cold right now!! I always get cracked hands in the winter and this is way worse than normal so they are very sore. This hand cream takes away the soreness overnight and helps my hands heal overtime. There is a slight strange smell but that’s because it hasn’t got any perfumes in it.
