Perfect for super dry hands

I’ve been using the Protecting & Repairing Shea Butter Intensive Hand Balm for a while now, and I’m absolutely in love with it! My husband suffers from extremely dry hands in the winter, and this balm has been a total game-changer for him. The 25% shea butter is rich and deeply nourishing, instantly softening his hands without leaving them greasy.

Deeply hydrating

This hand cream is deeply hydrating, and super thick, which also means it does leave behind a slight oiliness, so I prefer to use this one before bed and wake to soft, hydrated hands. The scent is a sweet, baby powder scent that is a comfortable familiar scent that isn’t overwhelming. I don’t love the aluminum packaging, I appreciate the creativity in recycling but the dents and divots already just make me feel like the package looks cluttered and messy, maybe it’s my fear of cans, but I don’t enjoy the usability of this style of container.

My holy grail for dry hands

Best winter hand cream!!! I get very dry hands during the winter especially cold weather below zero degrees and this shea butter hand cream hydrates my dry hands without feeling a sticky feeling afterwards

So rich, so smooth

I absolutely love this moisturizer. It has such a deliciously thick consistency and a subtle but pleasant scent. The packaging is sturdy and visually pleasing. I do think the packaging material gets dirty easily from the moisturizer itself but that isn’t an issue, just an observation. My hands feel smooth and soft post application. Getting the lotion out of the bottle can be a bit difficult, especially when it’s cold. I think I would prefer it in a different container but again, that is just personal preference and doesn’t affect my overall feelings about the product.

It's so thick!

L'Occitane En Provence Shea Butter Intensive Hand Balm contains 25% shea butter to help moisturize and protect dry, sensitive skin.

I love the way this hand balm smells! It is a light floral sent that isn’t overpowering. The perfect amount for someone like me who enjoys scents, but also reacts to too much.

It is also very thick. You would think that it would take a long time to sink in or leave a greasy residue with how thick it is, but my skin just drank this up! My hands didn't feel greasy at all, but I could feel a protective layer on my skin.

I have a bit of eczema on my hand at the moment and this balm helped to calm the redness and hydrated the dry patches, changing the texture of my skin from rough and flaky to smooth and soft! I've definitely found my new favourite hand balm!

A dry skin must have!

The balm has been a true skin saver for my dry hands, especially during the really cold and dry winter time!! It's such a nice and rich balm and I carry it everywhere and my husband and friends always love to ask me for it lol
