Somewhere between holiday shopping & holiday cocktails I had the awesome opportunity to test L'Oreal's lip plumper through Chick Advisor. I was soo pumped when I received the box in the mail I called my girlfriend right away so we could get it started together!! I had never tried a lip plumper before and I have to admit I was not looking forward to adding 2 extra steps towards my beauty regimen at 6 in the morning but I was really stoked to see the results....

After a week I didn't notice much difference, mostly they just felt tingly which I guess it meant it was working? I found the anti-feathering cream messy, and I never got it to disperse the right amount around my lips, the instructions say to dab afterwards but how long afterwards? I just dabbed and hoped it would work even though it was being wiped off. I was also very nervous about what it was I was putting on my lips as I wasn't able to get a full list of ingredients on their website/packaging.

Overall I don't recommend this product. The price point is too expensive for what you end up with so I would say stick to their make up products which is what they are great at. If you do decide to try it, get it on sale! Good luck!

I was lucky enough to be a tester for this through Chick Advisor, I was excited to try it out when the mailman dropped off my envelope!!

I received it last week and tried it that night, I felt a slight tingle sensation after applying step 1, and was excited that it was working, I applied step two and went to bed... but woke up the next morning with the same old lips with fine lines and not so much "va va voom"
I continued to try it out throughout the day and nightly, but nothing.. I was very disappointed!

I'm just glad I did not have shell out the money or I would be double disapointed.

To get plump lips like Angelina Jolie without injections or fillers?? Count me in!

However, this product did NOTHING to plump my lips. The hyaluronic acid concentration is probably so low in it that it's negligable. I've been using this regularly for the last 5 days but with no noticeable difference.

I don't have much of a problem with lipstick/gloss feathering so Step 1 wouldn't have made much of a difference. But I was hoping Step 2 would give me the look of fuller lips. I didn't notice a difference and no one has commented that my lips look any different. It makes a nice base (light moisture, non-sticky, not thick) under lipstick/lipgloss, but at this price, there's no way I would buy this just for that!

Not worth the money and doesn't live up to the claims.

I received 2 L'Oreal Collagen Filler Lip from chick advisor, one to try for myself and one to give to my neighbour. Neither one of us really saw much difference around the lip area or on the lips. The claim that it helps fill in the lines around the mouth just doesn't cut it and the lip plumper doesn't work well either. I am very disappointed in this product. I have used L'Oreal products for years, moisturizers, etc. and have been happy with them and recommended them to my family and friends. I won't be recommending this one. The cost of the product doesn't merit the claims.

Although it works well as a lip balm (which it isn't really intended for), making my lips super smooth, it didn't really do what it claims to. My wrinkles were not diminished, and weren't plumped up. It's much too expensive for what it does - a 5 dollar lip balm would work just as well. Overall, I wouldn't use it again.

I received the L'Oreal Collagen Lip Plumper in the mail through Chick Advisor. I tried out both the anti-feathering and the plumping steps. I'm not really sure if the anti-feathering worked as I do not wear lip-stick and I am fairly young and do not seem to have any wrinkles around my lips. As for the lip plumping, I did not find it effective at all. I did not see any visible difference. This product is simply not for me. I am glad I received it free of charge as I would not be happy to have spent any money on it.

I received this product to try from the product review club an was really excited about trying it. The product claims to plum lips and diminish fine lines around the lip area... it did neither.
I found the product to be an overly glorified moisturizer in a fancy tube, but while it did not do what it claimed, it did moisturize quite well, but it is not worth the price.
The product that goes on the lips was the wrong texture for me... it felt like I was putting moisturizer on my lips and it kind of left my lips feeling like they had a thick coating. I will use the product until it runs out (since it does moisturize) but I will not purchase it in the future.

Thanks to the Product Review Club for sending me this new product! I was excited to test out the collagen lip filler because I have rather thin lips. Using the tip was strange and I'm still not sure why they couldn't combine the creams into one lip gloss type tube. The product was smooth on my lips, but there was too much of a built up to apply lipstick or lip gloss on top.

I noticed a very small amount of boost in my lips, but my fiance said he couldn't tell a single thing (along with a female friend as well). The product was $25, which I think is so much money....especially since it didn't work for me! Overall, I wouldn't buy or recommend this product to friends.

I am afraid i would have to agree with the rest of the girls. This product it`s not really worth it. I`ve tried it myself, and even asked my mother and even my boss, both older than me, to try it, hoping that perhaps they could see the benefits better. No luck!!!
It doesn`t really "feather" at all, nor does it "plump". I like the white, "plumping" part though, it`s great as a base for lipstick, it gets absorbed fast and nourishes the lips somehow, but, unlike a lipbalm, it doesnt leave the oily residue behind.
I will continue to use it, however, perhaps it takes longer to see the results.

This was my first review product I received from Chick Advisor (THANK YOU!!) but sadly it doesn't work. I thought it didn't work on me only so I told my mom and cousin to try it. It didn't work on them either. I think this is the first L'oreal product that failed to please me :( It didn't plump or do anyyything to my lips and might I add, it sorta made my lips dry too. Even though it didn't work on me, I am glad I was able to test it out before actually buying it! Thank you Chick Advisor!
