I received this as part of the review club. Overall, the product is good.
The masque is good and makes my hair soft and smooth. I used this 3 times a week. It's not too heavy. It is a bit expensive. Overall though I like how it made my hair soft and smooth.
The packaging is alright. I would recommend this product but I know there are some good hair masques around the same price or cheaper.
I really liked this masque. It has a wonderful light scent, and I felt it really helped my extremely dry hair, bringing more moisture and shine. One thing I found a little inconvient is the packaging. The tub looks great, but having to screw the cap back on after scooping out a bit often caused me to get the product on the lid, Also, this allowed water to get into the tub. But overall, i really enjoy using this product, and definitely recommend it.
I received the L'Oreal Professionnel Intense Repair Masque through the Product Review Club. I definitely need hair repair masques for my flat ironed, frizz prone hair. This masque worked very well and smelled great. My hair was nice and soft after using it. However, I would probably choose a less expensive one because I have had good results with similar products at a lower price point.
I have never tried anything from the L'Oreal Professional product range so I was excited to give this shampoo masque a go because my hair tends to get damaged quite easily as I dye it every month.
The most important thing to me in a hair mask is the consistency - I couldn't care less for runny and watery masks - I want them to be super thick and "cling" well to the hair without dripping everywhere. Also, for some reasons, I just feel like it works better if it's thicker.
This mask smells of banana, which I loved! I mean, how many times will you come accross a hair product that smells of banana? It's not overpowering nor sickly sweet, but super pleasant!
This product does leave my hair smooth and shiny but I can't say it has really repaired my hair. Still, it's a great mask!
I have I have to use the tiniest quantity of product to cover my hair from roots to tip, so I think this tub will last a long time if you use the mask once a week. It's still pricey for an mask that, I'm sure, has tons of more affordable alternatives at the drugstore.
I tried the hair masque through the product review club and I was pleased with it. It is much heavier than the shampoo and really does deep moisturize your hair.
The product left my hair soft and smooth, both when using heat products (Blow Dryer, Hair Straightener) as well as when I just let my hair air dry. My hair is naturally wavy and it did weigh my hair down and make it less wavy but I was okay with that - definitely a plus on days where I am going to flat iron my hair!
Overall, I think it's a good product but it's something I'd keep in my cupboard for when my hair needed some serious TLC.
I recieved this as part of the review club. Overall, the product is good but I don't think that it's superior to other cheaper conditioners.
The masque feels quite thick but doesn't weigh my hair down. I've been using this every day for about 3 weeks and haven't noticed any change to my hair. I'm not too found of the packaging - I always find a jar to be a bit finicky to open in the shower and water gets in.
I wouldn't recommend this product mostly due to the price - for $30, I expect a lot more. I'll stick to my drugstore Pantene instead.
I was thrilled to get this as part of the review club since my hair gets really staticky and dry in the winter. This is a good product - not mind-blowing, but it does what it's supposed to do at a price comparable to other salon brands. There is minimal scent for me and I found that it was easy to apply on the hair, and after rinsing, it left a slight residue that keeps the flyaways at bay. No change in hair shine. It doesn't seem to wear down my hair, and I've been using it every other day. I would often use Fekkai's glossing cream at this time of year, but I haven't had to since using this product.
My main dislike is the packaging - I don't like the tub container. It's hard to open and keep dry in the shower, so I would suggest switching it to a squeeze bottle package to preserve product integrity.
I found the masque to be extremely thick so even though i used quite a bit in my hair it didnt even really make a dent in the container. It has a very nice smell ( kinda like sunscreen ) but i think thats the coconut. It made my hair very soft and manageable.
I really like this product! My hair was a bit damaged from getting foils and from having cornrows but this masque really gave it moisture. I like the smell of the product and the smell that it leaves in my hair after the wash. The one thing I really like about this product is that it is easy to apply and rinses out well. I was not left with a residue feeling in my hair. I am not one to towel dry my hair then apply a conditioner which needs to be rinsed off again so I tried the product in the shower directly after shampooing. I squeezed out the excess water in my hair and applied the masque. I waited the 3 minutes before rinsing and found this just as effective as if I had towel dried my hair before-hand. I would definetly reccomend this product to those looking for something to deeply moisturize their hair.
