The quality of lulu lemon has gone down hill over the last 5 years, I have two pairs that I've had for about 5 years and still are as good as new and I have a pair that is about a year old and they are falling apart! Definitely not what they used to be!
10 years ago i would have said these are the best pants ever and thats because they used to be. the quality of the pants has dropped significantly to the point where i have returned the last 5 pairs of pants i purchased, one being a replacement for the ones i had 10 years ago that are just wearing thin. the fabric isnt soft anymore but of a slippery fabric (still labeled the same as old ones), the legs ride up when walking and i tried a size up but same thing happens so its not because they are too small. when they were made in Canada these were awesome and worth the $100 but now they are cheap made in China garbage and thats why i choose to shop at Bench now for good quality made in Canada yoga pants and they are slightly cheaper in cost.
This is such an amazing pants, its so comfortable and good quality.I live in it being pregnant its hard to find comfy clothes and this is just perfect fit..
The fact that I work seasonally for lululemon (Christmas times), I may be biased but I still think my 2 cents count!
To anyone complaining of piling, "balls" on the fabric, or anything of the sort. You are not washing/caring for your items correctly. There could be fabric softeners in your detergent, you are not using cold water, you are not laying/hanging to dry or you are washing with other fabrics that are causing piling (cotton, zippers, Velcro etc). I have had multiple lululemon items including fabrics such as Cashmere, Luon, Luxtreme, Cotton and plenty of mixed fabrics and as long as you care for them properly...they will last. Yes, they may not last like 10 years (especially if you work out often in them), but they will last. I think it is funny that people "pick" on lululemon for this issue, when this problem can happen with ANY type of clothing and any brand. Most yoga/run brands will run you around $80-$100 for any given good quality item so the fact that you are paying this much for something is an irrelevant point. END RANT.
Besides all of that, lululemon is a creative, consistent brand of clothing that rarely disappoints in terms of quality. If and when they do, they correct their mistakes. The "yoga pants" - Groove Pants, Astro Pants, Wunder Unders - whatever you fancy, are all good quality and do their job. Creating different colours, fabrics, and styles in each of these pants is what makes them unique and fun! I love having different colour palettes per season, and I love that they do free hemming :)
I live in lululemon. To the people complaining that they got balls of fabric on them.. you are not properly caring for them. You have to wash lululemon separately from other clothes and you can not put them in the dryer. That is lulu suicide.
I think the $90 price for the pants is well worth it. They last for a long time (if you take care of them right) and if you do have an issue, lululemon will take them back and damage them out and give you another pair. They have a 5 year guarantee on them.
I bought my first pair of Lululemon yoga pants a few years ago for $100. I wore it once and washed it exactly as the label said (by itself or other similar Lululemon items, hung to dry and no fabric softener added) and these pants started pilling so bad with little balls and the texture of the yoga pants began to be rough and dragged on my skin as I put them on. I can't believe that for the price I paid how shitty quality the pants are. I have had yoga pants from old navy and Walmart that I paid about $5-10 for and I've had them for over a year and I wear them on a regular basis and they have not pilled or had any signs of wear. I would rather not have the lululemon symbol and save $90 and get better quality yoga pants. Also, for some reason the lululemon yoga pants attract more hair/fur than Normal it's like a magnet for hair.
LOVE!! These pants are amazing! They last so long, mine were 4 years until I replaced them because they got too short other than that they are in great condition. They are comfortable and the store provides free hemming. Must buy!
These pants are amazing! Not only are they more comfortable than you could imagine but they look fabulous as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone! I had a small tear in one of my pairs after having worm them regularly for just under a year and the company fixed them for me free of charge. Just make sure to always wash them in cold water on their own and to not put them in the dryer in order to maximize their durability.
Lululemon used to be unreal. The pairs of clothing I bought ten years ago have actually out lasted items I purchased last year. It is such a shame. If they ever clean up their act, I will support them.
The most expensive yoga pants I buy, but I wouldn't want to wear anything else. Material is moveable and makes the tush look fantastic! I tend to only buy the tops and bottoms made of luon just because it's my favorite but all lululemon apparel is amazing. Definitely worth the money
