I love their eyeshadows! I have 9 different shades, and use them all for different occasions!

As long as I use a primer my softer colours last all day, the stronger colours that i would only wear out for special events last all night! Its amazing! They can get expensive compared to the average drug store price for eyeshadows, but Id say much worth it!

Such great quality and if you bring in your empty container they give you a discount!

MAC eyeshadows can do no wrong. They are expensive but they quality is superb. There are so many colours to choose from, with so many shade ranges and finishes. There is little to no fallout with mac shadows and they last forever; twice as long even if you use a primer. I think MAC eyeshadows are a staple in any makeup kit. If you buy them in the pro palette they are about $4 less expensive. My favourite colours are woodwinked, all that glitters, ricepaper, phloof, satin taupe, mulch, quarry, club, cork, and orb. You can't just pick one favourite when it comes to mac eyeshadows. I recommend going into the store and speaking with one of the sales-people. they are so helpful at talking you through the colours and choosing the ones that are best for you and your skin tone. I admit, mac eyeshadows are expensive, but they are an investment. My makeup collection wouldn't be complete without them.

Even though these are expensive, they are really pigmented last forever on the eyes even without urban decay primer potion. I highly recommend them if you have the money but if you are on a budget go for a maybellinne quad which are pretty good too.

Love it, and it confirms that I think MAC is one of the best!. the eyeshadow stays on all day and the shades are amazing!

I like the packaging and the quality of most shadows is much above average, most of them are very pigmented and gorgeous, however some of them tend to be a bit chalky and glittery however this isn't very often.
Almost all of the colours are just as pretty on the lids as they are in the pan, I would suggest heading over to your local MAC and swatching them.
All in all they are usually worth it for the colours and nudes, on the other hand for the highlights and the blacks I would definitely going for a cheaper alternative, there's plenty of nice whites and black blacks from less expensive brands.

This product works well, it comes with a rather hefty price tag but it really does the job well. The pigmentation and staying power of their line of eye shadows is in a league of its own, drug store brands that I have purchased definitely do not compare. I would recommend others to try it as well, it is well worth the price tag

I find it very difficult to review this as a whole... Like with many other eyeshadows you can have hits or misses. Each eyeshadow can vary in quality, pigmentation, lasting power etc, I find.
Overall I would have to rate them as average, as they are quite pricey, somewhere in between drugstore and super high end. As far as quality, again, each shadow deserves its own review. I have some that are truly extraordinary, and some that are easily dupable in drugstore brands. All I can say, research each shadow before and go to the store to touch and see them.

I have Shroom, which is described on their website as soft beige with shimmer. This is a cult favorite and a must-have! I can use it as a highlighter under my brow or by itself for a natural look. I love it and this is my go-to color! Lasts all day and is versatile.

As a freelance makeup artist, I'm constantly looking for new colors to add to my ever growing collection of MAC eye shadows! Sometimes you need that perfect shade of plumb, or a super opaque black. I know with MAC eye shadows I can always find what I need, or something very close to it. I love their pallets! They're, perhaps, one of the greatest things about this cosmetic line. The ultra slim case holds 15 individual disks. I prefer these to the larger ones, so I can arrange by colors and stack them up easily in my case. Oh, and you can choose whatever colors you want and you don't have to fill it all at once, but gradually add to it. However, my addiction to makeup usually prompts me to fill most of it up at once. ;)

I really like the mac eyeshadows. it stays on for a very long time and there's a large variety of colours to choose from. I have been using Carbon (black) everyday to go over my eyeliner so my eyeliner won't smudge for about half a year now and it looks like I have barely used any! I also use a lighter shade to fill in my brows sometimes and it looks very natural :)
