Great for about a week.... Save your money

I bought this mascara online from my local Beauty Boutique a few weeks ago. At first I thought it was awesome! Long defined lashes, perfectly separated without any unwanted weight of thick volume. After using this mascara daily day week, my naturally long, but blonde lashes felt lusher & looked darker without makeup on. I was absolutely thrilled with my purchase!
By week 2, this product pulled a total Jekyll & Hyde act and was absolutely awful! It became thick & clumpy, like mascara you forgot that’s been in your bathroom for a year. No matter how carefully I applied it, my lashes were full of gooey clumps that looked like worse than Courtney Love’s makeup in her grunge days!
But the absolute worst thing, the deal breaker, for me was the tiny black flakes of mascara all over my cheeks and...in my eyes!! I have extremely sensitive eyes that are almost constantly watering and itchy due to horrible allergies. Every morning is a struggle to apply my concealer and set it before my eyes water & completely ruin it! So having tiny sand-like grains of mascara IN my eyes was absolute torture for me in the worst way. So much so that I’ve actually contacted the manufacturer to complain about my experience with the product.
Unless you have enough money to throw away buying a new mascara on a weekly basis, save your money and buy something else! If you’re made of money...well, it was amazing mascara for that one week after I opened it, lol! I’m a fan of many other Marcelle products, but this one was a definite waste of money.
