Good grip!

I did not expect the Mastercraft combination wrench set to be as beautiful in its black metal and also great at tightening. We’ve had our old wrench set forever, and and over the years it’s gotten crusty. Rusty and warped and keeps slipping.

These mastercraft wrenches are really an upgrade! our snowblower refused to start when we have 15 cm! We found a couple of bolts loose enough that the whole front was vibrating…The old set kept slipping because the edges aren’t sharp anymore — but the Mastercraft wrenches grabbed the bolts cleanly and tightened them without stripping anything. Once everything was snug, the snowblower worked fine!

Same with the lawnmower the handle bracket kept sliding down. The Mastercraft set had a nice tight fit, no wiggle, no slipping, just smooth turn and done…lawnmower fixed!
Honestly, the quality difference is obvious!

Awesome wrench

They r very well made and awesome that they r black,I rly needed them,and it was nice to test them out and get to keep them i used them on 3 things so far that needed to be fixed

Handy strong and convenient

I have an old set of wrenches that’s my dad’s and we usually use them for our projects but this time I used this as I was going to fix some steel partitions in the garage and these wrench set works great… it’s lighter than the other set and easy to use.
I might give this one as a gift to my dad 🤗

Toolkit essential!

The Mastercraft Black Steel Combination Wrench Set is a high quality tool set and is handy that it has dual sides. We were building a new piece of gym equipment for our basement and the tools came in handy for putting it together. They were easy to grip and didn't slip on the bolts. The tools are super sturdy. Would highly recommend adding to your tool kit.

Great for all the little fixes!

I needed to adjust my desk chair, and this set came in so handy at just the right time to make the adjustments needed! The 14mm was perfect for loosening the bolt that held the chair mechanism together.

I’ve been trying out the Mastercraft 8-piece black steel wrench set and I’m loving it!

➡️ The set comes on a display-style holder with a small clip that lets you snap the wrenches in and out. It works, but being honest, it’s not the most durable clip. I wish the holder had a more practical, reusable lock for everyday storage.
➡️ The black steel finish looks so clean and sleek, definitely the nicest-looking set I’ve owned 😂 Even my husband eyed it 👀
➡️ Each wrench feels sturdy but a bit lighter than the typical silver ones I usually buy. It still feels solid in the hand and easy to grip.
➡️ I tried one of the wrenches on a small household fix and it had a really good grip with no slipping. It felt comfortable in my hand.
➡️ The size range is great for basic day-to-day repairs, so it’s a handy little set to keep around.

Overall, I really like this set. The tools themselves feel high quality, and they look amazing, I love this black steel look. I just think the holder could be designed a bit better for long-term storage. Everything else is great 👍

Good Except the Packaginf

Fine set of wrenches. Essential for anyone looking to do some work on the car or around the house. They feel solid, the measurement indicators are clear, and the quality seems good overall. There are definitely more beautiful sets out there, but these are more than good enough to get the job done, and you won’t have to pay top dollar either. Worked well on some general maintenance on the car. It might be a bit nicer if the 8mm was a bit longer for those tighter spaces, but the length here is pretty standard. I like the black finish instead of chrome, though that mainly comes down to preference. I have an old set of wrenches passed down from my grandfather that are very solidly constructed. I never feel like I’m going to slip or even damage the wrench. These feel less solid in comparison, but that’s usually the case with newer tools these days. They don’t make them like they used to. That said, it’s probably more in my head than in reality, since these held up just fine. The only major complaint is the packaging. It’s absolutely awful. Had to look up a YouTube video to figure out how to open it. Even then I gave up and ended up breaking my way in with a screwdriver. I assume they designed it in such an absurd way to deter theft. It has also contributed to making me dislike the engineer who greenlight the design. Get these things out of their packaging and into your toolbox ASAP. If it wasn’t for the packaging, I would rate them 5 stars instead of 4. If you’re a tools guy, this won’t be the last set you ever buy and this certainly is not the best set out there. But if you’re looking for something affordable that will get the job done, then you can have confidence with these, in my opinion.

Sturdy tool set

I use this tool to fix my bidet spray. The tool itself is very sturdy and the handles are comfortable and user-friendly. It really helped me to fix my bidet so easily and did not slip away from my hands as most of the tools to the group is awesome and enjoyed the process.
