Great little picture hanging kit

I received the Mastercraft Picture Hanging Set for free from Butterly, and it honestly made the whole project so easy. I used it to hang my ostrich painting, and everything went up smoothly and perfectly straight. The leveler was such a lifesaver one quick check and the painting was lined up exactly right.

I also loved that the kit came with pencils and a sharpener, which made marking the wall super simple. And the bag it all comes in was a great addition it kept all the hooks and tools together and easy to grab while I worked.

The hooks feel sturdy, the setup was quick, and my painting hasn’t moved at all. For light to medium décor, this little kit is incredibly handy.

This little kit is a must have in your home.

Great tool kit for pictures

I Hanging set as a free trial and I was absolutely impressed with it. The hammer was the perfect size to get the nails just deep enough to be able to hold the picture. This kit was very beginner friendly even for someone with no DIY experience. I hang my kids art on the walls very often, and this kid has everything in one place the hooks, the nails, the level, and it even included two pencils with a sharpener which was perfect. Hanging pictures used to take me a very long time and was quite frustrating but now it is so easy and accurate. All the pieces in the kit were very sturdy and feels very solid and reliable so I don’t fear my pictures falling off the wall. As an added bonus, there is a bag so you can store all your pieces in a safe spot for anyone who hangs pictures artwork, even decorations. This tool kit is absolutely worth having it saves time and gives you perfectly straight pictures every time I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

Picture hanging set

It's a really good set; it's compact and easy to handle. I loved that the levels are magnetic. I was able to hang three pictures in my house. The set helped me a lot to do it correctly. I absolutely loved it; it's so practical that I recommend all homemakers have one. It's super easy to use, compact, and small—you can put it in its own little bag—and it gets you out of a pinch. I'll definitely buy more from this brand, and if I can give some as Christmas gifts to my friends, I will, because it really makes things much easier, especially if you don't have a man in the house.

Perfect for hanging art!

This was the perfect set for me to test out. As a fluid artist I have a lot of canvases that need hardware to hang on the walls. This set comes with the cutest little hammer, level and magnetic stud finder, two pencils with a sharpener, and several different types of hardware including screws and plugs. First thing I used this set for was to attach the "teeth" hooks on the back of one of my paintings. I have used this style of picture hangers in the past, so I found it fairly easy. I'm excited to try out the magnetic stud finder, because the battery operated ones have always been a struggle to use. This set conveniently comes with a carrying case to store all of the components, and even has room to add my other picture hanging tools and hardware I already own. The Mastercraft Picture Hanging Set gets 5 stars from me!

Hanging up frames with ease

I recently used the Mastercraft Picture Hanging Set to hang up several photo frames and a wall clock in my living room, and it made the whole process so easy and stress-free.

Everything I needed was included in the kit. I love that I didn’t have to search for extra tools or hardware. It truly is an all-in-one solution for beginners to decorate your walls. The carrying bag is my personal favourite as it keeps everything organized and easy to store for future projects.

I think this is the perfect kit to have around the house for hanging up photos and artwork. It contains everything you need and makes the job easy, neat, and efficient. Highly recommend for any home refresh project.

Everything in one place

I used it to put a picture up in my son’s room that’s been needing to go up for a while. I loved the size of the hammer fit in my hand perfect. I also loved how everything came in one kit all together so I didn’t need to go look for anything else. Also I had zero problem making sure my picture was level because it came with two different levels

Great kit with some caveats...

This is the Mastercraft Tool Set and Picture Hanging Set. It is marketed as an "all-in-one-kit". I would agree but with some caveats. Clearly this is probably not a set that is geared to the professional or semi-professional DIY'r. Those folks would likely have much of the items in this kit. Other than having all the pieces neatly organized and tucked away in a neat kit and small zippered bag (included), it's probably unnecessary. Having said that, if you are a starter or someone who has limited storage space for excess tools and hardware (think Condos) but looking for a compact one-stop kit for small picture frame jobs, then this is a great option for you.

The kit includes just about everything you need: 2 pencils, a sharpener, a compact hammer, a mini level, a magnetic stud finder and of course, all the starter hardware including plugs, screws, nails, wire, and various hooks (a combined 150 pieces according to the packaging). Please note that the one item that I was surprisingly missing was a basic tape measure and phillips screw driver for included screws. You will likely want one in most situations. The other notable item that was missing was an instruction set. While you wouldn't expect a manual or anything of the sort, it would be nice to have some tips and some limitations on maximum weight limits for various hooks etc. A link to video or website instruction would be nice but maybe too much to ask for the price point which was $34.99 at the time of this review. There is a limited lifetime warranty included which covers workmanship and materials (probably as it relates to the level and stud finder mostly).

This kit might just be the motivation to finally download and print a few of those precious phone pictures, pick up a few picture frames and get to work!

Mastercraft has truly stepped up the game with this picture hanging kit. While most sets stop at hooks and nails, this kit provides a comprehensive end-to-end solution. It includes a level, stubby hammer, magnetic stud finder, pencil, and sharpener—all neatly organized in a durable carrying bag.

The build quality is impressive, and because it’s Mastercraft, the lifetime warranty offers great peace of mind. I used it to outfit my office with some nice pictures and even to install motorcycle helmet hangers; the tools felt sturdy and reliable throughout. The only extras you’ll need are a drill and a screwdriver.

My only minor critique: There is no clear indication of maximum weight capacities on the packaging. Adding a weight-guide would make this the perfect 5-star product.

This contains everything!

This kit came at a perfect time. Our front foyer seemed a bit empty and we had a free wall which we wanted to hang some Anne Geddes style picture of the babies. We got them Printed and framed and simultaneously this kit arrived, and it had everything we need from the pencil to the sharpener to the levels to the different types of hooks nails etc. I was able to get the two pictures hung in minutes and it was super easy.
