Bring on the BROW DRAMA

The shaping chalk is definitely hard to get used to as it is a powder and I’m not used to that, but after using it a couple times I quickly loved how it fills in my brows making them look soft and natural. The only thing I didn’t enjoy about it is it can be quite messy. You have to tap the excess powder off the brush or it’ll get everywhere. Besides that it’s great! Brow Drama!

I received the MAYBELLINE NEW YORK BROW DRAMA SHAPING CHALK POWDER to try for free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest opinion and I ended up loving this product a lot more then I thought I would. I have the lightest brows ever - they are literally non existent without makeup - so I have to fill them in every single day. I have thought about microblading but the thought of a tattoo on my face scares me and its quite pricey. So, I have been on a decade long hunt for an easy to apply brow filler that's cost effective and efficient. I have tried everything from pencil to gel to creams but until this product I had never tried a chalk filler!

I just want to say that I did use the Maybelline Brow Precise Micro Pencil with this product in order to shape my brows but that was the only other product I used. I wasn't really sure what to expect or how it was going to look but I shaped my brows and then dug right in - it was SO easy and so seamless. The product literally masks your brows so perfectly and a little goes a long way. I was able to do both my brows without having to dip the brush back into the can for more product. The pigmentation is also incredible. I received the color 'Deep Brown' and I am impressed with just how deep it is. I like dark brows but I maybe would have gone a shade lower next time. The wand is a soft touch applicator and is great for the thick spots on the brows but I definitely needed the pencil for shaping and for the tail. The instructions say just to flip the applicator on it's side to do the shaping and tail but that didn't work for me... maybe I just need practice! The chalk definitely gives a more natural look which is fantastic!

The only thing that was difficult about this product was that I did end up getting product on my face somehow. I think the product being lightweight makes it easier to fall off. This was ONLY on application though and throughout the day I did not notice anymore on my face. I could also just be messy LOL but it did happen every time. Another small thing is that I did find that a spool brush is needed in order to get the patchy spots to be even. It's not a huge deal but I like my brows to be as even as possible so this was a personal thing that I liked to do after I applied the chalk. I would recommend this product entirely and I will be purchasing it in the future!

Interesting and unique!

At first I thought this was extremely weird and was hesitant to try it but I actually really like this chalk powder. It’s like filling in your brows with a brow powder basically. My only issue is the shade, it is very grey toned. I have to blend it out and use a more warm brow product with it for it to work. This does however make my eye brow routine go quickly. You can apply the product directly from the tube or for a more precise application you can use your favourite brow brush.

First of all, I love how Maybelline New York offers several different brow products, allowing their customers to achieve the perfect brow whether it be a natural daytime brow or a bold dramatically brow.

With that being said, I was provided this product complimentary of chickadvisor for review purposes.

Prior to using this product I assumed the application would be very messy being that it’s a “chalk” with a loose powder consistency. To my surprise when I used it, that was not the case at all. The chalk stayed exactly where I placed it on my brows and it did a great job of filling in the gaps between hairs.

I like how the tip is fine and flat so you can flip it around when applying it to the ends of the brow where it gets thin.

I would definitely use this product to fill in my brows and shape them. I do not recommend you applying the chalk to the inner portion of the brow if you are looking for a natural brow look as I find it looks too dramatical.

I would definitely purchase this product in the future!

I loved this product, it is a must have!

The shaping chalk was amazing! I will for sure be buying this product again! It was by far my favourite brow product yet. The colour matched my brows extremely well and filled them in for a more dramatic look with out looking to painted on or fake! It applies extremely well also. This is a must have in my brow routine! Very happy with this product.

J'ai adoré travaillé avec ce produit. Je trouve ça très original c'était la première fois que je travaillais avec une poudre comme ça. La couleur est très prononcé et l'applicateur fonctionne super bien.

Wrong color but worked well with my brows

I was chosen as a chick advisor for this campaign so i got this product for free.

It was interesting to try out this product especiall because of its name. When I read "chalk powder" i questionned as to what it truly was. Although i recieved the color Blonde which is to light for my brows I used it to bled with the pencil and volumnizer which worked out perfectly. I would definitely buy again in a deep brown and the price point for maybelline is amazing and doesnt break the bank for those on a budget like me! I would definitely recommend this for individuals who like to play with there brows and blend them out to achieve a perfect combo of color! Thanks maybelline and chickadvisor❤❤

not my cup of tea

I found this to be quite a great concept . I have very thin eyebrows and it made my eyebrows thicker than I'd like. the product itself though is great it has very great coverage .I didn't like the applicator though. I would recommend this to everyone who has thicker eyebrows but not to anyone who has thinner eyebrows all though I should try a brush with the product itself though

Decent but not for me

I received this product free for review from Chick Advisor. I was skeptical when I first got this brow chalk powder, simply because I knew it was a loose powder versus a press powder. When taking the brush out, there was a lot of fall out, however, it applied nice and light. It didn't leave fallout under my brow or on my eyelid. The shade was more of a taupe colour even though it claims to be the "Deep Brown" shade. While this looks okay on the brow, it's not something I personally need - I prefer a pencil and tinted brow gel. If you have sparce brows though, this would be amazing for you! Overall, great product but I don't have a need for it.

It work!

I've just receive it and it work so well. My eyebrows look natural and voluminus! I really recommand it! This is an amazing high quality and natural looking product!
