This mascara does a great job of upping the glam factor for your eyelashes. The formula is a bit wet and does require that a lash comb be used after it is applied. Once that's done though, you'll get nice long, black and dense eyelashes. The mascara does have a slight fragrance to it, and some people might not like that. Once the mascara has been on for a while though, the smell disappears.

I was sceptical at first, because I've tried a gazillion mascaras, but this one came with a free kohl eyeliner, so Im like WHY NOT?!

after i bought it, i noticed that it smelled good (uncommon for mascaras) and didn't irritate my contact lens wearing eyes. paired with the liner, this is an amazing look for school goers or partyers!

its inexpensive and gives you a great look, nice brush, reaches most lashes!

This is the only mascara I've found that adds volume and length to my sparse, stubbly lashes. I love how full and thick it makes my lashes look.
But it is very flaky which is why I've stopped using it.
I don't like having little bits of mascara on my face or fall into my eyes.

At first I was not a fan of this product, all the above comments about clumping pretty much describe my first few experiences. However, after a little experimentation I found that I liked it quite a bit.
The one thing that I found made a huge difference was wiping of the brush before using it. Just give it a quick swipe with a kleenex, taking off 75% of the mascara from the brush and it works wonderfully!
The bottle doesn't seem well designed, leaving too much product, by wiping it off you still get the great colour, and huge lashes, but without the clumping.

I bought this mascara just because it was on sale at the mall one day and i said to my self why not right?, so I tried it and it does make your lashes thick and long ! but I don't like it because it does not curl my lashes and even if I use it after I use a lash curler it doesn't keep the hold, but other then that its a great mascara.

This mascara makes your lashes look great.
After a few hours of wear I find that it will flake a bit, and sit under my eyes. There are other similar mascara's that do this, Bad Gal and Buxom.

Are we even talking about the same mascara here?
I'm quite frankly confused at all the positive reviews people are giving it.
I got sucked into buying this mascara because like any stereotypical consumer I saw the bright package and big letters and promises of 7x volume WOW Got to try it!

First rule of any purchase, do not judge a book by it's cover.
I'll give them a 10/10 on having a nice cover though.
There's nothing really WRONG with this mascara, I mean yes it covered well. Yes there's a decent amount of product in the bottle. But it's called Colossal. 7x the volume it says.
I found absolutely no increase in volume, it probably has the least volume out of any of the ten or twelve mascaras I currently own. I do not appear to have any increase in length either.

I would say this is an excellent mascara for men, because
a) You cannot put it on more than once in a day, or it clumps. Badly.
b) It will not change how your eyelashes look in any way, besides making them blacker.
And most of the dudes I know aren't into carrying a mascara with them to work to reapply later, and don't want volumized lashes, they just want their facial hair to match their dye job. Chicks, pass this one to your boyfriend, and get something else for yourself.

This mascara was given in our goodie bag during Chick Advisor's shop crawl. I was pleasantly surprised when I used it. My eyelashes had great length and volume with this mascara. The brush applicator works well to apply the mascara evenly without clumping. My lashes looked great. This product stayed on all day and never smudged (even when I rubbed my eyes). I definately recommend this product!

Love what the product does.But i hate the smell.

This mascara is prices extremely reasonably - but at the same time, gives you a traffic-stopping look!
I love the brush and how dramatic the results are. I found it flaked just a little bit but overall was a great buy and beatiful results!
