Before I go into details, you should know that I don't think this product is super amazing. It's normal. I decided to purchase some drugstore makeup after reading some review, and browsing around. I heard that The Colossal mascara was similar to Lash Blast, which has great ratings. This product isn't expensive at all in my opinion, it cost me $8.99 at my London Drugs. The tube is bold and bright yellow. I don't care too much for packaging as long as it's not an epic failure. I bought this in the normal brown color, even though I have black lashes. As I opened the tube, I saw that the brush was large, similar to the size of my Benefit BadGal Plum mascara. I'm used to this size, but if you are bad with big brushes, you may need to be more careful during application. This mascara -does- have a rose scent, which doesn't bother me too much because it's not very strong. On the packaging it claims to be able to make lashes x9 thicker, but that's not the case. It's just like any other ordinary mascara, about twice as thick, maybe a little more depending on how many coats you apply. This color that I chose (brown) really brings out my dark eyes which are also brown. It holds a nice curl, despite it's ordinary thickening talents. **It does not smudge at all, nor does it flake.** It's a decent mascara. You should give it a shot because it may work wonders for you. I would try other types of mascara instead of repurchasing because there isn't anything too significant about this one.

Smells so awful and gave me spider lashes. Maybelline gets me every time with their mascara packaging and I am always sad after I fall for it.

I used to use the Maybelline Volum' Express, so I thought I'd try this since it was on for $4 at Wal-Mart on sale. Glad I only paid the $4, because I was highly dissapointed. To be fair, I do like my mascara to be a thicker formula, and with some clumping. I have very long lashes, and like some more product on them to make them fuller. I thought that was what this was supposed to do, but NO, it really did not!

I have purchased this product, Physician's Formula, Rimmel, Cover Girl, Almay, Benefit, MAC, and Loreal Mascaras this month, and of all of them, this one won my least favorite vote!

When my mascara finished I went to buy a new one and I was looking for the original Maybelline (pink and green). In the store they told me that Maybelline stopped to produce it and I couldn't find it in the whole country so I decided to try this one... And I got sooo disappointed about it, first of all the smell disgusts me and second, since I have very light eyelashes, after I applied it my lashes looked gray and it doesnt fill at all... and the color is so weak, it doesn't cover well. It looks cheap for me. I gave it to my sister, since she has dark brown eyelashes and it works ok for her.

Warning, this product STINKS to high heaven, for reals. Average price, nothing new there. Quality wise... well, it flakes which is terrible. No, I didn't shove the wand in and out, it just started flaking on me two weeks later. Speaking of the wand, it's magnificent. Personally, I love it because it's easy to hold and makes application easy. Not exactly the easiest to wash off with plain ol' water, but it was fine. A nice product overall and would definitely purchase again.

I am not a big fan of this prodcut it seems to thick for my liking, but someone else may really like it. I have tried ones that are a lot better

This product is okay. Smells kinda weird and clunks up easily. It does create however big lashes...but check yourself in the mirror throughout the day as it may flake!

This product is just average for me. It doesn't seem to give me any "wow" factor at all. It clumped a bit on the ends of my eyelashes and didn't really provide a boost for length or volume. It did dry up pretty fast and flaked off towards the end of the day. It's not super expensive but I won't buy it again.

I actually purchased this so this is going to be a very blunt review. My experience with this mascara wasn't too great. It looks good going on but after an hours wear there is fall out and little black specks of dried mascara under my eyes. There for this mascara gets a 2 out of 10 from me. I only used it twice and refuse to use it again. It will be thrown out soon.

I like the big brush.
I wish they didn't add a rose scent to it.
When I put it on, I still see my lashes clumpy =(
