Mascara is a definite lifesaver in beauty essentials. I would recommend this particular product to anyone. Although it doesn’t offer the same likeness to other higher end products such as Dior (Blackout) and YSL (Volume Effect Faux Cils), it is perfect for everyday use. The brush itself has amazing coverage for the entire lash in a few strokes. Not to mention the price, which is cheap!

Pros:
- great wand : gets every lash
- lengthening: definetly one of those buildable mascaras for extra drama
- volumizing: I see it, but I feel the lengthening properties are much more prominent
- colour: really black
- easy: super easy to maneuver and really coat your lashes
- value: It's quite an affordable mascar for what it offers

Cons:
- A bit flakey after a while
- packaging is a bit cheap
- can clump if not used properly

SO all in all definetly a good product in my book. If you like dramatic lashes (you can't really tone them down), this is definetly a mascara to check out =]

I have used multiple different brands and types of mascara in attempt to find the perfect match for me. Maybelline New York Falsies Volum' Express Mascara works amazing! I love how long and defined it makes my lashes look. It adds so much volume amd drama to my eyes. I only wish the brush would self clean a few more clumps off when you pull it out. As long as you wipe the clumps away before you apply, the look created is exactly what is desired. My lashes come out bold, long, beautiful, and full of volume. I will continue to use this product! Give it a try! It's worth it!

I have clear, short lashes and have tried lots of brands but this actually surprised me with how well it worked. Easy to apply - did not need 12 coats for it to show and it made my lashes stand out. Actually it made me look like I had lashes - I found with most brands it showed for the first hour and then looked like I had not even put it on. Falsies stays put all day and is really affordable. Very glad I tried this product. Only down side for me is that I wish there was a lighter brown or taupe color as I have pale skin and find the brown still a little dark but can't be too particular - at least it works.

I started out loving it and it gave great drama to my lashes and made them very black, after a couple weeks it seemed to irritate my eyes a bit, but I do have sensitive eyes. It did add drama to my lashes for sure!

Falsies is a great consistency, and it coats the lahses with a nice dark coat. I really like it!

I’ve been seeing commercials for this and it piqued my curiosity. It promises a “false lash effect”. Oh really?

Huh, it kind of does. It’s a bit flaky, but otherwise my lashes were discernibly longer.

I loved what it did for my lashes. I am very picky about my masacara. It was well worth the money!

For a ~$6 drugstore mascara, this isn't really that bad. I've always been apprehensive about Maybelline mascaras since there's always been a disparaging gap between the claims made in their ads and the actual results I get when I use their products. The ads for Falsies is ridiculous because of the amount of photoshopped lashes that appear on the model, so don't get your hopes up for as dramatic a result as THAT! However, as a drugstore mascara I find it curls, thickens, darkens and lengthens my pinstraight lashes a decent amount, and keeps my lashes curled for 24 hours.

HOWEVER, I do find that sometimes my eyes water when the mascara wand is close to my eyes, as if there are fumes being emitted from the mascara formula. I don't find that the wand shape does anything to change the way my lashes look. Sometimes the formula clumps when I'm layering on a second or third coat. During days I encounter extreme environmental temperature changes, the mascara may smudge on my bottom lid, but otherwise I can sleep on the bus with this stuff on and it doesn't smear. At the end of the day, you will definitely require a solvent based makeup remover to get rid of this stuff, it can be quite stubborn.

My final word on this is that it's a pretty decent mascara for the price, and I personally think it's the best that Maybelline has to offer. However those with sensitive eyes may want to avoid this. Finally, don't expect the same results as that portrayed in their ads, it won't happen.

i do like the mascara, although i do not love it, i was hoping for more lengthening than it really does. that would probably be my only con. the pros are easy and nice, it separates my lashes and goes on smoothly! and doesn't clump even after my second coat. It made me look like i have more lashes than i really do, but yes i would have liked more more length to them =( even though it curls them quite nicely!
