It's desert in a cup!

I first tried Mill Street's Vanilla Porter on tap at the Mill Street Brew Pub. It is smooth, the vanilla is not overwhelming and not too sweet. It's comfort food!

Mill St Brewery originated in Toronto, Ontario, but also has one of their Flagship brew pubs here, in Ottawa, Ontario - the food is exquisite and they have their main and special beers on tap!

Vanilla Porter has a unique taste - with a vanilla flavouring, it overshadows the dreaded chocolate and coffee that makes it a porter (I don't like chocolate or coffee in beer). Mill St seems to do their chocolate right in their brews, however, making them actually palatable to my taste buds.

It's a nice thick dark colour and smells quite sweet and delectable.

This porter is another dessert beer - goes down smooth and thick.
