I absolutely loved the colour it provided, a deep and rich red. Applied beautifully to my lips, and kept them feeling soft even with an evening of wear. I can't comment on the price as I received mine as a gift, although I do find $32 (as per Sephora) to be pretty expensive for lip wear.

I got this in my birthday gift from Sephora. At first I wasn't sold on the matte look, or the deep red, but it really is a super flattering red colour and it has great staying power. I do find it isn't as moisturizing as I'd like (I'm a lip balm fanatic) but I like the matte effect so I won't ruin it with something over top ;)

I love this lip pencil, it's very creamy and not drying.

The formula of this product is great leaves a matte finish which I love. The colour is vivid and you can use it as lip pencil or lipstick. Although it is a bit pricey you get for what you pay for.

Normally, I do not like lipstick in sticks. However, I got this in a travel size as a birthday gift from Sephora. I found it to be smooth, creamy, and non-drying at all. It's buttery smooth and gives a great shine - almost creates a sheen. I love it. Just use a jumbo pencil sharpener like the Chella one.

Seriously love this product! The colour is wonderful. It lasts a long time. It wears very well. I'm saving to get more colours of the nars pencil. I'm not allergic to this brand, definitely 2 thumbs up!!!

I got the Cruella NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in this year's Sephora's birthday gift. This is my first time using a NARS product. It's a combo lipstick and lip pencil in a chubby lip pencil style than a traditional lipstick. You need to buy the dual lip pencil sharpener because it's not your average lip pencil size. The colour goes on smooth and creamy on the lips. I add a bit of gloss since it is a matte formula. The colour is pretty rich and bold. I think I like this better than Tarte's Lipsurgence products which is a bit more drier on the lips. I like the colour a lot. It works for me!

I recently received a deluxe sample of The Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil from Sephora for my birthday in the colour Cruella... and I honestly couldn't be a bigger fan of this colour. It is a deeper red, but somehow seems so natural with my skin tone. I absolutely love how this applies like a lip pencil (its chubby!), but stays on really really well. It does dry your lips a little, so having lip balm underneath and even on top is a good idea. I don't even care though because I love the colour and coverage. It stays on pretty well while eating or drinking, but does transfer, so I would love to find a product that would seal it on for extra long lasting effects!

I cannot recommend this colour enough. I have a fair skin (Asian/European mix), so it really stands out on me... but somehow compliments my skin tone so perfectly. I will 100% buy a full size in this.
