Nestlé Good Start 1 Reviews

Description

Thanks to a unique process, GOOD START was the first routine infant formula to have, on average, 10x smaller proteins for small tummies, which may reduce the possibility of an allergic reaction to whole milk protein. GOOD START contains DHA & ARA (Omega 3&6) which support normal physical brain and eye development.

All three of my babies were on good start for the first year. We've tried other brands but noticed that they has more frequent constipation. They were able to tell us but we think it must be easy on their tummies since they were always happy after some GoodStart.

this is great because it is close to breast feeding milk and it has all the nutrients a baby needs.

My daughter nursed as long as possible but when I went back to work, we had to switch her to formula. We tried a couple different kinds and this was the ONLY one she'd take willingly. It had a good consistency to it, didn't have a weird smell which I found some other formulas did, and overall was a great choice for her. I always recommended this to other new mothers!

Had both my daughters on it. Did so much research on formula in case I couldn't breast feed. After trying 3 months of breastfeeding with both girls, I stopped producing milk and needed to supplement.
Because of the probiotics it helped my babies with digestion. Its easy to make, loved the fact you could make a pitcher at a time and put in in the fridge.

No parent should ever have to explain, justify or apologize for how they feed their child(ren). There is nothing wrong with formula feeding a baby because you choose to or because you have to. The only person who has the right to ask is the baby's doctor.

I have two children and both were supplemented with formula. Nestle GoodStart was not the formula of choice for my first child but it was the formula recommended by our second baby's pediatrician. My baby suffered from acid reflux for the first 10 months of her life. The first several months were especially difficult. While we waited for a diagnosis, we experimented with all of the brand name formulas. We found that our preferred brand for our first child did not seem to sit as well with our second child.

Her pediatrician recommended Nestle GoodStart. He said that while all formulas are good, GoodStart is a little bit easier for babies to digest and that it is, in his opinion, just a little bit better than other brands. Our daughter did well on GoodStart. We experienced minimal spit up and only two incidents of vomiting, both of which are common in babies with acid reflux. I can't say if that's luck or partly due to the formula.

Our daughter happily drank her formula and was satisfied by it. She switched between breast milk and formula with no issues. We usually bought the powdered formula, which was easy to find on sale. The ready to feed jars were handy for travel and I usually kept a couple in the diaper bag in case we were out and about and she needed to eat. I found the liquid concentrate difficult to find and more expensive than some of the other brands, which was disappointing as I prefer the concentrate to the powder. However, the packaging for the powder was redesigned shortly after we started using it and the new design makes it much easier to use all of the product with minimal waste.

Nestle also has one of the best sample programs for new mothers. We received a backpack with a change pad, a magazine and formula samples. Formula is not cheap and I greatly appreciated the free samples that allowed us to find the right formula for our children.

I would not hesitate to recommend GoodStart.

when i was ready to introduce baby formula to my baby, i started with samples i received. she just was not into them. it is either she spits up often or only takes a little. However, when i received Nestle Good Start 1 and introduced it to her, it was like a snap! she gulped everything. in a short time, i even had to increase her servings. she loves the taste, no spits, no fussiness, and i like the smell too! i still use it and i have no issues. got value for my money.

This formula is easy on baby`s tummy, didn`t seem to upset her. I breastfeed but use Nestle Good Start to supplement when I am at work and Dad takes over. It was also a bonus when I ate something that didn`t agree with her and she got so fussy she wouldn`t eat for me.

While breast is best, the option to breast feed or even feed pumped breast milk is not always available. As a new mom, I struggled with breastfeeding in the first few days (weeks, months) after delivering my baby. This was especially true until my milk came in. During this time, I needed to supplement with infant formula to nourish my child. As I had samples of Nestle Good Start ready-to-serve formula on hand, that was what I used. Even in those early days, the formula was gentle and well-tolerated by my newborn. Breastfeeding became easier and I exclusively fed my baby that way for the first 6 months. However, with the introduction of solids, increase in the amount of solids, and then other hormonal fluctuations, my milk supply dipped. I soon came to the point where my milk was not enough. Fortunately, I turned to a tried and true formula - this time the Nestle Good Start in powder form. While obviously not as easy as the ready-to-use variety, my decision did not disappoint. My son happily gobbled up the prepared formula. I felt good about serving it to him. I would recommend Nestle Good Start to any mom looking to feed infant formula to their baby.
