Fun and in control

I like being in control with the NOMA iQ™ app. Connecting my NOMA iQ Smart Wi-Fi light bulbs and wall plugs was easy to do and only took moments. It’s fun to be able to easily turn on, off, customize, and control all my connected devices. The NOMA iQ app is quick and easy to set up and incorporates smart prompts for guided learning. I love that it’s an all-in-one app where you can voice control your products with your Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, and easily customize and automate, set scheduled routines, or timers for your favourite settings. A fun feature too is that I can share control with my roommate’s aka family for convenience. It took our daughter a couple tries to pair her light, but once we figured it out was smooth sailing.

For a new product should connect better.

The app was pretty basic. I wish it had an option to change the colours on a set timers. I believe that connecting to Google Home could set it up, but that's not available in this app.

Seamless setup and use.

The app was easy to set up and use.
It works great from the app. Or from my smart home hub.
Noma IQ is a seemless app and a great product . I would highly recommend the product and the app.

Seems a bit redundant.

For what it is, the app works well enough. All of the main functions work exactly as intended and I like that you can have Noma items I'll show up together. My biggest issue with this app is that it just seems redundant. Everything that it does, from being able to control the lights, using voice commands, scheduling routines, etc. Are all available as features in my Google home app. In addition to that, I can still control my thermostat which is not Noma branded or my speakers. I don't have to have an extra app like the Noma app in order to control everything including my lights. If I had all Noma products and I didn't use the Google home app as regularly as I do, I think I would appreciate this more. But as it stands, it really has no extra function for me.

Nova smart Wi-Fi light bulb

I have the opportunity to try the Noma smart Wi-Fi light bulb and I was very surprised. I received two white light bulbs that were able to be linked to my smartphone and can be set up to your preferences fairly easily. The setup was fairly simple as you just inserted the light bulb into the socket and followed the directions on the app. I love the fact that you were able to set up a timer or set up a certain brightness for a certain time and all sorts of different options available. Another great feature is that it could be set up to your Google assistant or Alexa so you can actually request whatever you need directly to your phone by using your voice which is very handy. I thought the product was very innovative and quite easy to set up. If there was one thing I had to change about it I would have liked the light bulb to be able to change different colors but other than that it is a very innovative and useful product.

Super cool!

This app is super cool! This saves me from having to go down the hall when my child leaves the light on which by itself is neat, but I really enjoy being able to set a schedule and having it link with google assistant to come on/off according to actual sunset/sunrise.
Being able to use my voice control is super helpful when I need a little more light and don't have the hands to do it with!

User friendly

The Noma iQ App for Android is so user friendly! It only took a few seconds to install and I was able to use it right away because it's so simple & straightforward. There are only a few screens and they are very clear, concise, and easily guide the user on what to do. I love that we can control the lights (or whatever you're using the plugs for)from anywhere with my phone, or use my voice with my Google Assistant. This was actually a fun app to use with the Noma LED Bulbs because of all the colour choices on their colour wheel. *I received #freeproduct from Butterly in exchange for my honest opinion

Noma keeps impressing me with their technology

I’m just discovering how great this app is with my smart wifi outlet and Smart dimmable light bulbs from Noma. Its very easy to set up on your phone and tablet. You can add more rooms from your house, and add other members in your household to turn on and off the light bulbs and appliances that are connect to the smart wifi outlet. It’s even better once I figure out to connect it to my google assistant. Its all controllable through the app or the google assistant.

Quick and easy to set up

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this app since my experience with other smart home device apps has been disappointing. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the app worked immediately and smoothly – that is, right off the hop it was able to seamlessly detect my Noma smart devices, connect them to my wifi network, and add them to the app. It was also very easy to integrate the devices from this app into my Google Home “home”. There are a lot more features in this app that I haven’t noticed in others. You can create all sorts of custom “experiences” in your automation set-ups, including schedules/routines and timers. We set up the smart bulbs in our bedroom to turn on simultaneously with when my alarm goes off, and customized the shade and intensity of the bulbs to be as unintrusive as possible for a pleasant wake-up call. You can also group different devices together by room. It was very easy to set up these different routines, including timers for vacations. I only hope the app continues to be supported and receive regular updates for the years to come, as that seems to be a shortfall for many smart devices on the market these days.
