I've been using the Oral B Pulsonic since I received it through the product review club. (I was using the Oral B BrAun and previous to that a manual toothbrush.)

    Benefits:
    - Easy to Use
    - 2 speed settings
    - Cleans better than a manual toothbrush
    - retains charge for a long time without being plugged in.
    - Brush head is the same as a manual brush if that's what you like!(Most electric toothbrushes have a round head like the dentist)
    - Nice slim design
    - Precision tip an excellent addition.
    - Kept teeth white
    - Reduced plaque

    Downside:
    - I could only use it on the sensitive setting even though I don't have sensitive teeth or sensitive areas. The "Clean" setting was just too powerful.
    - The brush head is the same as a manual brush, I prefer the little round head on an electric toothbrush
    - Doesn't reach back teeth as well as the BrAun.

I have been using this brush instead of my usual electric toothbrush and I have to say that though it is a very good toothbrush and does a much better job than a manual brush at cleaning, I still prefer my Oral B BrAun because I can use it on a stronger setting and it's smaller brush head helps me reach the back of my teeth a little easier. That said, I will continue to use the Pulsonic for the precision tip, it does a great job and I'm really impressed with that particular feature!

So to be part of Chick Advisor means some great opportunities and a vast array of information. The perks keep getting better and by that I mean having the opportunity to review the Oral-B Pulsonic Power Tooth Brush.

I was always a manual tooth brush user for obvious reasons its cheap,I've used it for years and well the dentist always gave me a free tooth brush after every cleaning. So why not use it.
After using the Oral-B Pulsonic tooth brush for a few weeks I can say I'm convinced that the manual tooth brush pales in comparison when it comes to cleanliness and effective use of your brushing time.

After the first brushing with the Oral-B Pulsonic I noticed how smooth and how much I could feel the spaces between my teeth. Yeah the plaque was being pulsed out of the nooks and cranny's of my teeth. WOW I never knew how much was left behind all those years brushing with the manual tooth brushes.

My last dentist visit(s) (YUP visits it took two to clean my teeth, they were that bad) I was told I have tartar, it was plain to see, I could see it myself ! With that comes swollen and red gums. They hurt and yes I cried a little.

Today I can say I eagerly await my next dentist appointment. I want to hear what my hygienist thinks of my teeth and gum health. I can already tell that the Oral-B Pulsonic brushes better and removes more plaque but it also massages the gums!

I would highly recommend the Oral-B Pulsonic, yes it is more expensive but you could ask for it for a present for the holidays maybe. If you care about having a healthy mouth its a worthwhile investment. Lets face it most of us girls spend a tone of our cash on cosmetics and they are not cheap either.

So if I don't convince you this is a great tooth brush maybe the other positive reviews will. I'm not just saying this because I was given this for free it truly is how I feel about this product and I would say this even if I paid for it. In fact I will be buying new heads for this when the one I have needs replacement. My old manual tooth brush is now being used to clean the grout in the tile LOL. (hey it works)

This is a great little toothbrush! They sure have come a long way over the past few years. I have a Sonicare toothbrush and a manual toothbrush and this one bridges the gap nicely.

I like the slim design and gentle vibration it provides. Even with my sensitive teeth it wasn't too strong on the normal setting. The battery charge has lasted a long time and the brush head is nice and small. It is also more quiet than my Sonicare and doesn't make my nose itch when I use it!

I can't comment on whether it whitened my teeth but they definitely felt clean. The first time I used it they were literally squeaky clean! I'm definitely happy to keep using this toothbrush.

    Oral-B Pulsonic

Manual toothbrushes have slowly taken a back seat, even my dentist is endorsing powerbrushes.

This is not my first powerbrush. I tried the Spinbrush and didn’t like it – it was bulky, loud, and shook a bit too much for my liking. I also didn’t like having to use batteries.

Enter Oral-B Pulsonic. I’ll leave the product specifics to the company – you can easily find them online. Here are the details that matter:

    It’s small, sleek and lightweight.
It’s chargeable. Fantastic. In fact, I left it out of the charger and it’s been 6 days. I still haven’t run out of juice.
    It’s quiet. Very quiet.
It pulses without vibrating or shaking.
It tells you how long you’ve been brushing – a short stutter in the mechanics at 30 second intervals, and a double stutter at the recommended 2 minutes.
It leaves a noticeable cleaner feeling. My teeth felt dentist clean.

All that makes for a very effective toothbrush.

It’s pricey in that it retails for about $75. Taking that into consideration I would probably still buy it. If you spent $10 on a cheap one and batteries thereafter, the difference would probably be negligible.

Finally, take into consideration the fact that this is not just your average pulsing power toothbrush, it reportedly helps to whiten teeth. They say it does so by removing 94% of surface stains. Check out the photo of my teeth. Their only one week apart, but the bottom are whiter than the top. It’s no longer reported, it does whiten.

i was so glad to receive it to review for free
    reason
-i have been using only manual tooth brushes my whole life and was thinking of buying an electronic one
-i liked oral b always for tooth brushes but there price was somehow a bit higher than my budget

    ok the review now :)

The Oral B series (which is approved by most of the dentists i know) is high-quality.

I was initially drawn towards the Oral-B Pulsonic Electric Toothbrush due to it’s simplicity.

    It’s lightweight!!!
The handle is nice and slim like a “manual” toothbrush, and it’s easy to hold and maneuver,
the brush head is the right size, fits in my mouth nicely and is great for traveling (only if there was a traveling pouch included, i wish!!!). I think comfortable is the best way to describe it

this Pulsonic specifically works to whiten your teeth, like dentist clean :)
I like the way it cleans.

The Pulsonic has a combination stand/charger that sits neatly on the bathroom shelf. It doesn’t take up much space at all- these features are probably the nicest, in my opinion.

There are two brushing modes, one with a “pulse” action.
A “sensitive” mode is for gently cleaning gums.

It also lets you know audibly every 30 seconds when to change the quadrant within your mouth with a built-in dentist-recommend 2-minute timer to ensure proper cleaning, a very useful feature.

Overall, this is definitely a great toothbrush. The results it has given me are certainly impressive and I’m more than happy with it on the whole.

My husband is already thinking of buying the same for himself :)

    Highly recommended

loved the product. It made my teeth more cleaner and whiter within several days of using it. The benefit of having this toothbrush for me is that it can be used to clean the hard to reach places especially the back of the mouth because of the small round head. I could easily tell the clean feeling in the mouth after using it. I would definitely recommend the product to friends and family members,

I was lucky enough to receive this as part of Chick Advisor's Product Review Club offer (Thanks a bunch, Chick Advisor - you rock!).

Simply speaking, I like this product - not only is it aesthetically pleasing, with its slim and simple design, but it also works effectively.

With a manual toothbrush, I normally brush my (hopefully) pearly whites a bit too hard, and I am fully aware of it being a bad thing. However, since I switched to the Pulsonic, I have been able to get myself to ease off on the pressure applied to my teeth - one of many pros of using this product. I like that there are two brushing modes on the brush - normal and sensitive. I haven't really found too much use for the sensitive mode yet, but expect I will be using it on the days when I come back from the dentist with aching gums. It also comes with a precision brush, which I really like as well - helps with getting into the little crevices to obtain the ultimate clean.

I haven't noticed a significant difference in the whitening of my teeth as of now (I've been using the toothbrush for less than the 2 weeks that Oral-B says it will take for the difference to be apparent) but I sure feel that my teeth are cleaner - that's a start, of course!

Now, my only gripe about the toothbrush is the price - replacement brush heads are $20 , the last time I checked. However, because I am a firm believer in good oral hygiene and its links to overall good health, I *will* consider continuing to use this product, regardless of the cost. I would definitely recommend this product to others, especially if cost is not important in the purchaser's decision.

I was very lucky to receive this toothbrush from the Product Review Club (thank you!). The packaging was very nice and sleek. I decided to use it for a couple weeks before posting a review so I could see if it stands up to the claim that it reduces surface stains by 94%. I can definitely say I have seen a change in the whiteness of my teeth; they are very bright and white! I have also noticed that my gums look less red, and much more healthy. The clean feeling after finishing brushing with the Oral B Pulsonic toothbrush is amazing! I feel like I just returned from a professional cleaning at the dentist, and the clean feeling lasts all day. I have owned an Oral B Triumph electric toothbrush for more than three years and I can say that this provides the same clean feeling as the Triumph. I have not yet decided whether I prefer the circular shaped brush of the Triumph, or this one. I love that this brush is much slimmer and lighter than the Triumph; it takes up much less space on my bathroom counter! I enjoy that it has a two-minute timer which prompts you to switch quadrants of your mouth every thirty seconds. It makes brushing fun and the two minutes seems to just fly by! I will definitely be recommending this to friends who have never owned an electric toothbrush. The head shape is similar to one of a manual brush so it is a smooth transition. An improvement I would suggest to Oral B is to include a travel case, similar to the one included with the Triumph. The Pulsonic's slim design makes it great for travel and a case would make it that much better. Thank you!

This tooth brush is not your usual clunky, cordless toothbrush. Very streamlined and light, much like a regular toothbrush.
It is very powerful. I prefer to use the sensitive setting, as I found the vibrations a bit to jarring whenever I would hit against my teeth with the body of the brush (ie not the bristles). The timer function is improved over previous also, a pause after every 30 seconds lets you know when to switch quadrants.
I have used another power toothbrush in the past, but one of the budget models, and never really noticed my teeth being whiter or brighter, but have to say I have definitely noticed my teeth being whiter using this brush over the last couple of weeks. This has worked great, but glad to have been given it by ChickAdvisor to review, because I don't think I would ever spend this much on a tooth brush.

This is the best item I have tried for cleaning your teeth. I admit the vibrations caused some discomfort of my gums for the first few days but since then it is fine. My teeth look and feel amazingly clean after using this and my gums appear healthier. This is definitly a product I will continue to use.
Thank you Oral B and thank you ChickAdvisor Team.
