This sieve was smaller than I anticipated – so make sure you measure 4 inches to ensure you are satisfied with the small size.

Husband said he did not feel we could use it for anything, but at least the quality is good.

Despite his review, I have been able to use it for sifting icing sugar over cookies (so much cleaner and easier than using my fingers!) and making pots of loose leaf David`s Tea.

It also makes a cute hat for the dogs!

It is pretty heavy for such a small sieve, and is made from stainless steel - so it should not lead to the same demise as our last sieve (rust).

The end of the handle has a hanging hoop for me to hang it inside the cupboard, and is comfortable to hold.

I did try to use a bit of strength to push the wire mush down to see how well it was attached to the base – and it did not break – a true sign of quality.

It is easy to clean with soap and water, and the handle does not get streaky when it has dried.

They are available in two sizes, I will definitely be looking into the larger size due to the overall quality of the 4 inch version.
