Mealy and Meh

I LOVE olives! I did not love these olives. I read the directions on the box carefully and noted the warning that overcooking could make the filling leak. I undercooked by 1 minute. The filling still leaked. The cheese is okay, but nothing remarkable. The olives are okay, but again, not remarkable. Unfortunately the bredding they are wrapped in is quite bad. It's not crispy. It's not quite crunchy. But, it's definitely not soft. Does it have cornmeal in it? That might explain the texture.... which in my mind is not a nice texture. Nor is it a nice taste.... and it has an off after taste. This one is a miss for me for the PC Holiday Insider's Report.
