    Didsapponting product, disappointing customer service.

I loved my case for the first few months, it’s sleek, and a good conversation starter. I shared this brand with many people! Though around 10 months after I started using the case the base of the case started to split. At 12 months of use the entire base has split and now the case does not stay on my phone. I am a light user, I work in an office and do not do a lot of outdoor activities for my phone to be exposed to sunlight or water.

I have tried through Facebook and Instagram to contact the company and have them publicity answer my question of:
‘what is the expected lifetime of a PelaCase?’
Because I personally can not see how replacing a case every 12 months (manufacturing, shipping etc) is more environmentally friendly than using 1 case for 4+ years as I have previously done then the case was passed onto someone else to else to use.

The company will respond to my comment by telling me to email, and I receive generic responses to my PMs . I find it bizarre that they will answer many other questions on their posts though mine go ignored.

So no, I do not recommend PelaCase to anyone. The durability of this case is terrible and I imagine worse so if you are someone who works outdoors or does a lot of outdoor activities. Use a quality case that will protect your phone for the life of the phone. Buy local!

    Biodegradable cell phone case!

This cell phone case is made out of flax straw (part of flaxseed plant) and plant polymers to make a biodegradable cell phone case in a ton of fun colours. So when you are done with it, you can throw it out and know that it will not sit in a landfill - it will biodegrade! I have had two for each of my phones and I absolutely love them! They are called Pela Case. Free shipping world wide too!
