I do not recommend any diaper genies. They are a huge was of money to all new moms out there. I just buy a bag of small bags from the dollarama or take some extra produce bags while doing my grocery shopping and that worked better. I tried this product by putting the big ulgy garage bin together only to find out that the lid is so cheap it doesn't even securely close. Such a waste of plastic.

I love my diaper genie, I love the scented refills, I love how much it can actually hold, and love how easy it is to remove & dispose of all the loveliness it stores!
Definitely a mom must have! saves your sanity, and your nostrils!

A decent diaper pail - We love the peddle feature ensuring our hands are free when we insert the diaper. It does a decent job keeping the smell at bay. The only issues I had with this pail is that I wish it had a better notification system when the bag is going to run out (maybe make all of the bag a different colour to let the user know they're going to have to change it soon).

I LOVE MY DIAPER GENIE ELITE!! It was the best gift I recieved from my sister in law!!! You only smell the poo when you open the lid, which, if your changing a dirty diaper, then you will be smelling poo anyway ;). It is so easy to change the bags, and I have never had any bags break or leak!! I would highly recommend this product!

This is a difficult review for me to do as I completely loved mine while my daughter was a baby it was so convienient however once she started to grow and her bowel movements did to then it started to smell and fill too quickly and we switched to disposable bags. So basically we wasted money on this product after she outgrew it. We did not use this with our second.

Didn't like this item, strong smell, fills to quick, and pushing the diapers down is just disgusting!

Changing diapers can be a dirty job but since it`s inevitable, make it easier on yourself with a proper diaper pail. I was convinced I would avoid the Diaper Genie and anything like it but alas when I came upon it at 50% off, I caved and bought. At that price, it was no more expensive than most regular garbage pails of equal size and function (foot pedal). While the refills are expensive, it`s ability to contain odor exceeds my expectations and it`s way easier to use than I originally anticipated. Out of sight, out of mind!

I'd never reccomend this product to anyone! Doesn't even work!

Love the diaper genie! Keeps the smell away amazingly. The oly downside is how much it holds and the fact you have to buy refills. Can find for real cheap or free when buying used.

I love my Diaper Genie! It works great at removing smells and is so easy to use - the foot pedal is great when you have a baby in your arms! I wish it would hold more, and I find when removing the bag, you end up wasting lots trying to cut it - but I do love the built in cutter. The only downside is the refill price. I always have to stock up when they go on sale, or I wouldn't be able to afford it!
